Yes Lando had brand new tires and Max's tires was 6 laps old already. So obviously he is going to pull away on a weekend when they are competitive and Max is struggling with setup.
I will remind you again. If that safety car did not come Lando would have been 5th or 6th

yep 100% since the halfway point fo last season we been seeing mclaren do well

and this year they proving it

so well done to them

merc and aston dropped out ..so now its a nice race and fight for 2nd in the constructors

Listen, some people complain how bad Miami/Vegas etc etc etc is before the races and then have egg on their face.
Some say how bad Lando is at the start of Miami gp and then have egg on their face.
Some tell us how great a team Merc is, now after 3 years of just going backwards they have egg on their face.
Some told us how great De Vries is and Ricciardo

I know Leclerc is good and Hamilton is old. So your if if if will stay at if if if.

It is 100% not as obvious as you are making it out to be.
They were hard tyres and 6 laps is nothing. New hard tyres also need time to warm up so that could have actually hurt Lando.

Lando had the quickest qualifying lap of the weekend and was storming towards Carlos well before the safety car. A victory would have been difficult but not impossible. He would have been higher than 5th or 6th though.

Again, I'm not saying the championship is Landos and we know Max and RB will be back with the vengeance but at least there are signs that the races may be closer going forward which is something we all so desperately want.

Sargeant enjoys a lot of clean air without the risk of being within DRS range of anything but the barriers, whether he likes it or not. The top step awaits.

So how many passes did he make with this extreme pace you telling us about, where he could have won even without the safety car?
 
I think we all can agree that we wanted to see what Max would have done had this been a few cm's more..

There is definitely merit in Red Bull's announcement that Max had serious floor damage as can be seen in the following pics. However, I am still of the opinion that Lando had the pace and less deg even if Max did not have floor damage. Plus, Max's damage was self inflicted so it is what it is.

Lando is the greatest ever, he will put 40s over Max the next race.
Having the record for most podiums without a win was just unlucky.
British drivers are the best

Lando and McLaren in general had a great race, can't take that away from them.

Max had a bad setup all weekend for some reason, but I'm sure they'll work that out by the next race. His floor damage didn't help but even without it I think it would have been a close fight, he never looked anywhere near as fast as he usually does.

Pretty good racing all round, I think everyone except Sargeant and Magnussen get a tip of the hat.

I’m pretty sure i read that there was a Trump themed rally planned to happen during the weekend at the GP but it was not approved by the organisers.
