that was a fantastic and entertaining weekend all around.
Practice was great.
Quali was fantastic.
F2 sprint and race was great.
F1 main race was great. strategy, on track over takes some much better than others. the LH on Stroll pass was something that really stood out. not sure if stroll thought he was being lapped or something because that was not a normal place for an overtake. and Ocon also had an over take that was very unusual.

Mclaren and Ferrari both look like they are bringing the fight to redbull.
Merc look like they finally understand their car, and that means they can bring upgrades that might bring it up in the field but I dont see them fight wiht the top 3.

as much as it pains me to say it Max drove well after his black and white flag to not get a penalty. but I am sure the Mclaren guys have been combing though the footage to make sure there was no track limits....

HUH this weekend race the top 5 just ended where they started except for Piastri and Sainz that swopped 4th and 5th?
This was also just a procession.
We will look at how many position changes there is at Monaco.

Or do you regard when some drivers have made pit stops and other not as positional changes? Like someone takes the lead because he has not pitted?

Seeing as several of the races so for this year have been on Saturday your comment could be confusing - a Smily would have helped ;)

I don't have F1 TV but from the comments I guess it was Davide Valsecchi.
I call him the Over Excitable Italian and tend to hit the Mute Button whenever he is on.
I have no Idea why Sky and apparently F1Tv are so fixated on him.
For Sky Italia then fine, but an english broadcast should at least have commentators that can actually speak intelligible english.
 
I know its been discussed before but F1TV is now starting to get very damned expensive, going to have to consider whether to renew in June or not since its now R1049 for the year.
 
Great race... last laps were intense.

I'm sure I saw some track limits violations by Lando in the last 10 laps.

Everyone was going wide there. As long as there is gravel so going too far wide has consequences, it doesn't really bother me
 
Why was track limits even a thing at Imola with the new gravel? If a driver wanted to risk a tyre on the gravel, then let them go for it - it cannot be quicker, surely?
