An analogy is a custom, tailor-made suit vs one bought off the shelf and then adjusted to you: the former will always fit better.Oh and this "a car is build for a driver's driving style" is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Engineers build and design a car to be the fastest possible around a track including engine, aero etc. Nothing to do with how a driver likes to drive.
The driver then gets in the car and feels what pros and cons comes with this design and adapts to it.
Drivers can change the suspension stiffness, brake balance and things like that to accommodate their driving style.
Good points. Reminds me of this.
If you have F1tv go on board with Max and Checo and you can see how they drive completely differently, Max is smooth keeping the rev's up through the long corners as he balances the car using the throttle and brakes while Checo is using a lot of engine braking by changing down before and during the corners. This is imho is why Checo was so good at street circuits like Baku, etc where there are not many long flowing corners.Good points. Reminds me of this.
I predict next year if Checo carries on his current form.

F1TV has that irritating Italian chap back for Austria!
