I also want to see hard but fair wheel to wheel racing.

and we have seen that from other drivers in the past. so we know its possible.

but for now on to silverstone.
my prediction:
Lando pole max P2. Max takes Lando on lap 1.
Lando fights back all though the race.
another incident and one of them goes off track and has to retire the car. the other finishes 7th with a penalty.
random person wins again that was sitting in 3rd miles behind them, maybe lewis, maybe GEorge maybe Piastry maybe Calros, maybe Charles. but we all know it wont be Checo

Is there any other teams where the team mate is that far behind in identical cars? Seems to only be Checo.
 
saw a video earlier from an angle from the stands

norris darted into the corner knowing he was behind and max moving into his way

i would add this as a racing incident

Quali gap between team mates until Canada
but we have had 2 more races that have increased the gap for Max v Perez, decreased the gap for Albon V Sargeant and the Bottas Zhou gap has stayed about the same.

The hell are you on about? And where did I say I thought EJ was right or not? I said it is absurd to say EJ does not know the rules. Now you are saying EJ wasn't paying attention. You keep shifting the goal posts with every post and you are starting to look stupid.

He is not the only one thinking that, only after his first win did he stop driving like a limp wristed granny against Max, this past weekend his balls finally seemed to have dropped properly. So hopefully he'll take the fight to Ver properly from now on.

He did not move under braking, he went in a straight line. The straight line was just not parallel with the track.

HE went off track to avoid a collision with a driver that came in too hot into the corner from way behind him.

Funny that you claim the stewards are right when they give Max a penalty for collision, but when they did not give anything for your "left the track gaining position" Then they wrong?

The best way to look at this situation is to go look at lap 26 of the Austrian GP of 2023. Same corner, Max and Sainz. If you can watch Max's onboard even better.
Max is in same position as Lando was but even closer to Sainz. Sainz move way more than Max(2024) did under braking. Max move to the curbs to avoid the collision and then undercut the corner and Takes Sainz on the next straight like a champion driver.

No British drivers involved. No penalty for Sainz for moving under braking. No uproar in British media.

the people defending Verstappen on this are like religious nuts or Trump supporters, they simply cannot fathom that the golden Idol can do anything wrong, because if the Idol can do anything wrong, then they could be wrong for supporting them and that is simply too much for that fragile of an ego to take

My head says Max will run away with it and give them all a finger on his victory lap.
My heart says I hope there is a safety car that help Lando get another win so the Brits can respect the sport.
