OH yes they were. Or at least Schumi and Senna. Thats what makes them great. If Leclerc was maybe less of a nice guy he would also get better results.
Problem is more if you an A hole but you only have 1 safety car assist victory.

Oh and this is the only Fabio I know, but I don't watch DTS so I havent seen him racing. Ask @quovadis and @UrBaN963 if he is also like the greats.

Your entire personality is DTS brother, I bet you can rattle off the credits verbatim.

I've been watching F1 for 32 years, don't come at me with this kak.

Professes to be a world expert on F1, doesn’t have the knowledge to realise there is a small typo.

What an idiot.

52 races, 24 wins, 35 podiums, 5 world championships

Did you not know? The credits are his closing / winners anthem...
He stand so proud with hand on chest when the credits come...

And he even gives a bow when the infamous NF sound ends - "doodooooooo"

I am a big fan of Max, not so much of Lewis but one thing they have in common is they can bitch and moan a lot. Wonder if the greats like Sienna, Schumi, Fabio Fangio etc. was also like this?

Ja definitely. Not sure about Fangio, before my time, but Senna and Schumi were absolute aholes at times. People hated as much on Schumi as they did on LH or Max. The greats are hated during their time of dominance but give it a few years once Max retires, and people will be praising him. Weird how this sport works.

Main difference being we didn't have the radio comms back then the way we do now. Would have been equally entertaining back then I'm sure.

Definitely, but just going on from various post race interviews and some caught on camera bits, you could see that they also had that same mean streak.

Yea for sure, and times were different then, they said things you couldn't say today.

I think Prost is the only one who did not have a mean streak. I dont recall any interviews where he was a twatwaffle.

but he was french, and I was young so maybe it just went over my head.

Some call it mean, some call it whining.

The only exception to a crybaby world champion was Raikkonen...
in recent memory I do agree.
Alonso is also not too bad.
there is a difference between whining on the radio about a bad strat call for 40 laps and saying the car is slower than a F2 car retiring from the race and catching some rays with your feet up....

I am sad Oscar did not do a Shoey after his win.

but I like his logic. leave that to be Danny Ric's legacy he can find his own celebration method.
