  • Russell did very well to stay ahead of Hamilton in the last part of the race on older tires, well done George.
  • I was surprised Verstappen was not able to pass the Ferrari of Charles at the end. Although Max gained 6 places during the race he was not as dominate as his qualifying time suggested he would be. Max in my opinion had a surprisingly very uneventful race.
  • Perez went from second to eight! his days in the RB must surely be numbered.
  • The construction title is now a three horses race between MB, McLaren and RB. Toto is smiling again.
  • Things are going to get interesting between Norris and Piastri in the future, there can only be one.

I don’t see Merc in the constructors TBH, they will get a couple of wins here and there but constructors will be too far ahead for them
Interesting to hear Helmut saying Piastri is the more mentally astute and stronger driver, obvs trying to stir **** but not without merit
The Redbull loss in pace is astonishing

Amazingly tight calculations they’re using if that’s the case but not surprised if it’s the case.
Not really. That's less that 200 grams per tyre, with an extra 15 to 20 laps on a set designed to not be run so close to the wire, it adds up. Merc REALLY should have figured that out though.

I also rate Piastri over Norris, he just has that championship quality about him, I think he'll show Norris up soon.

Not sure about 1.5kg, but drivers will often pick up marbles on the cool down lap for a bit of extra weight. Spa doesn't have a cool down lap.

That would be a massive pity though, to be disqualified for the equivalent of a medium sized number 2.

Also the weight limit is without fuel and it states the car wasn’t empty even after extracting what was needed for testing so it’s a bunch of weight…

Eish, so the car was underweight by quite a margin.

What a snorefest.
Just DRS train after another and almost impossible to pass.
Merc trying to cheat again? Hope the check Hamiltons car properly and also that flexible wing.
Piastri starting to show who is the nr1 at Mclaren.
Charles did pretty well in that slow Ferrari.

Still only one Safety car win.........

A car being underweight is often like speeding in the pitlane. As Martin Brundle calls it, a 'slam dunk'.
