The issue occurs when switching to international stream and casting midway through a race if you’re trying to watch from the start. Try it next time during free practice. At 30 mins in, exit the app then start again, but from the beginning, switch to international then cast.

Ditto on the multi viewer. I might just try two streams to my TV with PiP…

I don't know how many of us cast though. I use Samsung Dex and can switch commentary whenever I want. Fortunately F1TV is default, so hardly ever switch anymore.

Assumptions are the mother of all....

I often switch streams during free practice when I want to watch a specific driver to get insight on what they are doing/testing at specific moments. Works 100% each time.

That said, I just said I am not casting so you a bit ignorant there.
 
The only bug I've found is when you've paused it for a few hours then start watching it later the autoplay counter popup for next video appears and it doesn't matter what you do, if you let the counter run out then it stops the broadcast or if you click cancel it still stops the broadcast so I have to make a note of the position and then restart and find that position again. We never had this "feature" last year.

Won't the constructors championship points remain the same and only affect the WDC, which doesnt earn the team anything.
I bet Piastri had something written in his contract to ensure that he does not have to give up position and that he is allowed to race in all circumstances

It would be a pretty stupid team that encodes something like that in a contract. I doubt even Hamilton or Verstappen would be able to get something that says they can absolutely ignore the team written in their contracts.

Lando needs to get a move on if he wants the WDC. His chance is literally this year and next year, with this year being his strongest chance. Piastri will have that much more experience and aggression next year and he'll be far more consistent than earlier this year. Hamilton will have a decent car from the start and will probably have fresh motivation at Ferrari to get his 8th WDC. Lando will find 2025 very tough, but not as tough as 2026....

Do you think a 40 year old Hamilton will be faster than Leclerc? He seems to struggle to beat Russell? He may be ahead of Russell in the points but Russell have finished ahead of him in most races. Russel had 2 DNF's, one where he won and was DQ. Both races where Russell DNF Hamilton won and thats basically the only reason he is ahead of Russell.

It's going to be entertaining watching them fight over second in the dwc this year while Max goes on to win it.

WDC is about visibility with fans and sponsors. It's about marketing. Having a WDC in the car means you get plenty airtime during races.

I very much doubt that. That would be a complete insult to Lando who had to do just that in Hungary.

Monza was supposed to be a track where the Red Bull was strong. So was Zandvoort, and he was beaten by 22 seconds there.

Red Bull will be weak at Baku and Singapore. If Lando wins both and Max finishes P6 (if he can even manage that in a car that hates curbs and turning) in both that lead will basically evaporate.

If Red Bull doesn't fix their car by the time we get to COTA Max will be absolutely correct ☠️

I see the rags are suggesting it'll be a shootout between Russell and Antonelli next year with Verstappen in their sights for 2026. LOL.
