Good race, I really enjoyed it. A bit stumped as to where the RB pace disappeared over night and Max most likely would have gotten pole if not for Osama bin Russel.

Great race by the Ferrari team, really looked very strong. Job done for Max with 5 points gained. RB looked really strong on Saturday so it seems they are finding a bit of lost form.

Hell, Hamilton really did not want to be there this weekend.

Super impressed by Colapinto and is it just me, or does he strike an eerily resemblance of Senna?

It'd be a crime if Colapinto doesn't have an F1 drive next year or the year after. I bet Williams are wishing they didn't move on Sainz so quickly.

Yeah, Audi should jump on him asap. Would be a waste to have him there, but at least he will be in the mix for 2026.

All these FIA rules come about because the tracks are now designed for pooftas. If there was gravel / grass on corners like they did in the old days, no one would be racing around off track... but now who cares, just go wide and keep on going.
That first corner is a disaster anyway, even Brundle was like WTF it's dumb

What a great weekend. Charles is baas, 4th to 1st on first corner.
We waited almost a month for some racing and Texas delivered us a great weekend with lots of action.

Pity it is spoiled with some butthurt MBB British fans trying to make up their own rules.

Not so sure - it would have to be off track without incident so it would revert to forced off track?
Referring back to Austria - the times that Lando and Max went outside the track at turn 3 during their battles all counted as track limits strikes IIRC.

Wd Ferrari. Great race by Charles. Colapinto is driver of the day for me though. Those Max divebombs are ridiculous to be allowed if he’s not making the corner himself.
You do realize that he was in front?
How do you divebomb if you are in front and someone trying to overtake you? Late braking maybe?
Please educate yourself with the ins and outs of motorsport other than DTS.

The stewarding was inconsistent - as always. Russel got a penalty for forcing another driver off while Max didn't - all we ask for as fans is consistency and the lack thereof is frustrating

Well driven Colapinto, Hulk, Charles and Carlos. Mclaren again gambling and failing. Great recovery by George but terrible weekend all round for Lewis.
Do you realize that Russel was trying to overtake someone and forced him of the track. Max was the one being overtaken. Big difference.
Max was ahead at apex and had all the rights. If there was gravel, Lando would not have tried that stupid move on the outside.

Lol. Anyone can be ahead at the apex if they have no plan to make the corner or remain on track themselves. I'd be far more entertaining of it if Max kept some tires on the track.

It’s basically a professional foul imho. Also, first lap leniency is becoming a joke.
I did not see you complaining about first lap leniency when Hamilton passed people off track limits on numerous times on the first lap in the past.
Or are you just selective on what and who you complaining about?

You're now conflating first lap racing incidents with passing off track and avoiding a collision due to a dive-bomb where the person doing so doesn't remain on track himself. These are not all the same things.

Yes like I said. please educate yourself how motorsport works.

So Lando got 4 track limit strikes on the official FIA document. One of those was made neutral in the T12 off track pass 5s penalty by the stewards.

Long story short, if he DIDN'T get those 5s for the off track pass, then he would have got it for the 4 strikes. So he would've lost his P3 no matter what.
Lando aside, it was the fact that Verstappen, yet again, got away with no less than two incidents of braking too late and forcing an opponent off the track while Lando and George got penalties. There’s clear bias.

Actually it’s more than that, it’s brake late and hope for the best as well.

I think I must go back a few pages on this thread where a certain Lando kept divebombing Max, pushing Max of the track and how MBB members complained that got and unfair advantage from leaving the track.

Will you all apologize when I quote your old posts? Or you can't remember that far back? Like Austria?

I'm more lenient on the move if he stayed on track doing so and was in-fact ahead at the apex but Max essentially drives right through the apex. Max had three incidents imho - lap 1, the lando overtake and the sainz overtake off track which some might argue sainz was actually ahead at the apex.
