James did come out and say that the 25 car wont be as competitive because they're betting it all on the 26 car - so dont expect too much next year@Ouballie2 What is your opinion? Red Bull will not always be a top team, Williams will not always be a mid-tier team. Red Bull is trending down while Williams is trending up. We have seen the crazy things from Colapinto in that 2024 Williams, we haven't yet seen what Sainz can pull in a 2025/26 Williams. We also aren't sure what effect Ford will have on Red Bull, it might be bad because it will be Ford's first F1 engine in 20 or so years. And rumours are that the 2026 Mercedes engine (that Williams will use) is looking mighty... If Williams puts Colapinto in that 2026 car next Sainz they might suddenly look like contenders.

If the city already has a racetrack, sure why not? But the strip gives the race a certain vibrancy that F1 is looking forInteresting rumour...
"http://LVSportsBiz.com has learned there is talk behind the public scenes of the idea of moving the F1 race from the Strip to the [Las Vegas Motor Speedway] site."
Maybe not for a win but I can remember Andrea de Ceasaris and Mansell also pushing their cars. I don't recall Mansell making the finish line.I recall, from my youth, watching a F1 driver push his car over the finish line to win the race because he ran out.
Not sure which driver or race but I am sure a search would find it ........
First result: Leading the 59 US GP at Sebring, Jack Brabham ran out of fuel with two laps to go and was passed by Bruce McLaren. He managed to stay in fourth place and won the WC title by pushing his car across the finish line. He collapsed from the effort.
I was too young at that point so it is not the one I saw on TV but apparently it has happened a few times in the 70's and 80's, despite being banned in the 60's.
No chance in the short term imho. Similar recommendations and concerns were made over the years and were ignored. As long as F1 has the support of MGM and LVCVA it'll have access to the strip. The only reason it's in vegas is due to the hype and glitz provided by the strip. If the city already has a racetrack, sure why not? If Helmut gets his way then yesLawson to replace Checo at the first round of pitstops.
I'm almost tempted to add "Verstappen and Norris take each other out" because that will happen someday. What are your predictions for the race on Sunday?

More like Verstappen will take out whoever his closest rival is. If Le Clerk overtakes Norris then he becomes the target...I'm almost tempted to add "Verstappen and Norris take each other out" because that will happen someday.
