Some video circulating after the race of Lawson waiting for Horner in the paddock. Could be a k@k out session, or discussing potential replacement of Perez.

Horner loves his Mexican churro so probably a kek out session. The plot armor on this guy is amazing.
Personally I think Perez is out of Red Bull next race.

Let's see how it goes.

this was a fantastic race all around.
Carlos had an amazing weekend.
the overtake Carlos made on Max was my highlight of the weekend. it was such a good move and executed so well.

it was a good recovery drive from Max to end 6th after the 20 second penalty.

I noticed a lot of people took the rulings from Austin to heart and you can see it in the way they raced each other. no intention to make the corner, but make sure to be ahead at the apex to force the other car off.

Double points for Hass again was fantastic. and Gasly managing some points was also nice to see.

Sad Alonso could had to retire the car in his 400th race.

seems like Checo is going to keep his seat. Redbull stubbornly sticking to their guns is at this stage feeling like a radical political supporter refusing to change who they vote for despite the evidence. its pure stubbornness keeping him in his seat and in the sport. at least Vcarb got rid of Danny Ric who was also brought into the team out of stubbornness. if Lawson was there all season maybe the battle with Hass would not be an issue and Vcarb could have been fighting Aston Martin instead?

I am really happy for Ferrari in the climb for constructors. and its going to be awesome to see how the battle there goes.

I still feel Max is going to end up champion.

a while ago I said Mexico is a bad track that feels like a procession because of DRS trains and cooling issues. I am so glad to have been wrong on that. this has been in my opinion the best race of the season so far.

Agree, also was thinking that to myself. Those 20 seconds was icing on the cake.

One thing about 2024 is that its not predictable. Sure, right now it may seem like its a foregone conclusion, but one DNF from Max and its a different beast. I suspect there are a couple of twists to come.

If it happens this week, perhaps. If not, then I'd think they'll let him ride until the end of the season. Can't see anything changing unless he magically wins a race.

The question as well should be, will Lawson make a big difference? I mean, it seems RB is losing 2nd place as well but Merc is way behind so even if Perez/lawson starts scoring good points, I can't see them catching Ferrari who has a great car and two good drivers

and the way Max is driving he is going to CAUSE the DNF himself like he almost did this weekend.

Max would still most likely need to take a penalty for a new PU at some point.. being predicted for Brazil. So yeah, Norris could potentially close that gap even more this weekend.

If it's a matter of RB winning the constructors they'd have made the change already imho. If being in third now doesn't result in anything it doesn't matter much for the next few races. Also, Tsunoda is testing for RB later in the year so perhaps it's not a foregone conclusion if it's Lawson or Tsunoda.

Lucky for Max he is racing against a clutz with just about enough talent to get by. If that was Lewis or Le Clerc in that car he wouldn't have been so far ahead. Maybe even George if he was a bit more mature.

I think Charles and Lando will avoid collisions at all cost if they want to stay in the fight - not so sure of the rest of the field would yield or avoid contact.

Funny thing. I watched on Sky NZ and just before the race they went to the TAB betting and gave different bets you can make with who has the best odds. For first driver to retire they highlighted Tsunoda as the biggest odds. They must know something.

Perhaps Yuki bet on himself.
