Lando got the most he could out of Mexico regardless of feelings. If anything Ferrari's strat for Charles gifted that 2nd place. It depends on his goal - at the past two races, it cost Lando - mission accomplished.

He came from 15 seconds behind Sainz when Verstappen ducked into the pits to 4.5 seconds behind at the end of the race. I have no doubt sitting behind Verstappen cost him more than 5 seconds. Norris' patience is what got him P2.Lando got the most he could out of Mexico regardless of feelings. If anything Ferrari's strat for Charles gifted that 2nd place.
12 seconds with 45 laps to go. If anything it was lawson holding him up.He came from 15 seconds behind Sainz when Verstappen ducked into the pits to 4.5 seconds behind at the end of the race. Did they take away his 3rd title ?All Max is doing is trying to ensure the Ferraris finish ahead of Lando and he finishes as close to Lando as possible. Seems fairly doable for most drivers, let alone a 2x WC in a RB.

Kyalami takes steps to secure Formula 1.
Since 1961, when the first Formula 1 Grand Prix was hosted at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit (Kyalami), generations of spectators have flocked to the iconic circuit to cheer on their favourite racing driver. However, since 1993, the enthusiasm for Formula 1 has been restricted to the parameters of a television screen for South African fans.
Formula 1 and South Africa hit the headlines again when Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr Gayton McKenzie, met up with the Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali at the Azerbaijan Formula 1 in September 2024.
Minister McKenzie noted that we are “one step closer to bringing it [Formula 1] to South Africa” and while at the same event, he also had an “extremely good meeting with President Mohammed Ben Sulayem of FIA” where they discussed support for the F1 bid.
The iconic Kyalami has taken proactive steps by engaging the services of Apex Circuit Design (Apex) to prepare a roadmap for FIA Grade 1 accreditation, a requirement to host a modern Formula 1 event. Apex is an award-winning motorsport engineering consultancy responsible for the design and delivery of the world’s best racetracks.
With its rich history of Formula 1 events at the circuit, Kyalami is perfectly suited to host top-tier international motor racing events. Sharing the ethos of creating an engaging spectator and participant experience, Kyalami and Apex are working together to prepare Kyalami for FIA Grade 1 accreditation.
The Kyalami and Apex Teams met with Minister McKenzie to outline plans for FIA Grade 1 accreditation.
An enthusiastic McKenzie thanked Kyalami Circuit Owner, Mr Toby Venter, for his continued service to South Africa through his vision and initiatives to create a desirable, suitable and realistic solution for aspirations to secure the return of Formula 1 to South Africa.
Kyalami Management thanks Minister McKenzie and Gauteng Premier, Mr Panyaza Lesufi, for their continued efforts to secure the return of Formula 1 to Africa.
Whist negotiations with various role players, including Formula 1 owners, Liberty Media, continue tirelessly behind the scenes, South Africans can be rest assured that there will be a suitable home for the return of Formula 1 – Kyalami.
In a parallel universe perhaps the 1stDid they take away his 3rd title ?![]()
It would be awesome to welcome F1 back to Kyalami - would be nicer though if the upgrades would result in a guaranteed race weekend for us even if it's only guaranteed at some point in the future. From Kyalami's Facebook page.
Honestly couldnt care less for that cry baby, I never see him nor hear his voice.agreed.
on a similar issue - does anyone know when martin "bungle" is on leave. cant he just sit out a few gps and keep his bias to himself.
according to him, perez has a "few meters" head-start.
if that were a brit, he would've probably said an inch or two.
A fast Ferrari could ultimately be his saviour if it keeps taking points off Norris and limiting the damage.

If Colapinto is lost to RB that would be a major misstep by Williams imho. Williams' best scenario for their team would be a 1 season loan and first option after.Colapinto could prove to be the unexpected answer to Red Bull's problems
I found I just enjoyed the race more with the F1TV commentary. One of the reasons for F1TV so that I don't have to listen to the biased commentary.
Colapinto has made such an impact on F1 this year that I think it would actually be difficult to justify keeping him off the grid as a reserve driver. Sponsors and team bosses are tripping over themselves trying to get him signed up for 2025.If Colapinto is lost to RB that would be a major misstep by Williams imho. Williams' best scenario for their team would be a 1 season loan and first option after.
They’re commentating for the British public which is like watching boks game with Aussie commentators.I found I just enjoyed the race more with the F1TV commentary.
Something about the SkySports guys just makes me tense.

F1TV don’t do that.
He was the best. You guys evidently never had to put up with Murray Walker.
I feel like Murray Walker's voice could rev up like an F1 engine. You guys evidently never had to put up with Murray Walker.
