The FIA fired Massi for such a bad call and for handling it so badly.

If 20 cars or however many it was were ready, there would be no restart - they should have finished behind the SC. The rules are pretty clear on that - once the "lapped cars may overtake" message is sent out, the SC returns to the pit at the end of the following lap. Massi totally gyppo'd that rule. The backmarkers unlapping themselves was a bit of creative interpretation of the "any backmarkers can unlap themselves" which Massi decided it could mean only 5 - and not all... (and resulted in updating the rules) but regardless of that, the SC can only come in a lap after that event anyway, which means finishing the race behind the SC AS PER THE REGS.

They managed quite successfully to follow those regs in Monza 2022 where they finished the race behind the SC as the rules dictate. The trouble with letting the race director make up the rules as he pleases is it opens the system up to bias and means that strategy can be negated by the race director. Teams need consistency in the rules to know how to react in situations. What are the point of rules and a rule book if you have to look to the race director for them at every race?

It was more than controversial, they bent the rules. Hamilton would have won had 1) Latifi not crashed 2) Massi not gyppo'd the SC rules.

Hamilton and Alonso is a waste of seats, they too old.
Bottas, Zhou, Gasly, Albon, Stroll, Ocon, Hulkenberg, Perez all had enough time and showed they are not special
F1 needs a driver refresh
 
If Hamilton did not bump Max of the road into the barriers at Silverstone 2021 and only got a slap on the wrist for it. There would be no Abu Dhabi 2021 and Max would have been champion even if he got 10th. Karma
 
LOL. now that the British bias was shown, they suddenly call Leclerc in.

My prediction, Soon Johnny Herbert will not be in any role at F1
 
Wd Piastri and Lando. Lawson & Bearman deserve a special mention. I guess Max is gonna have to divebomb Charles.
 
Yes one give everyone a chance, but at some point you come to realize that there is no point and no logic involved. The other two I have been ignoring for months, so I am just giving you a HeadsUp, that I will not respond anymore.
