Just some new season thoughts...

I'm anticipating an interesting season ahead, and it should be a close run affair with at least the top 4 teams closely matched for wins and the titles. Who will run out victors at the end of the season is anyone's guess, but I'm hoping for Ferrari to take the spoils this year, they just need to sort out their strategies, which has been bad for the most part, since the days of Alonso and Vettel, who should've both have won a title with Ferrari.

Also, another team might spring a surprise and fight with the top 4 teams, or one of the top 4 teams will have found an upgrade or two that will see them dominating the first few races of the season.

In terms of the rookies... I don't see any of them making a huge impact, it might just be the other way round and highlight their lack of talent. Colapinto started well last year in his first races, but also showed up why he is a rookie, but I see him as the only one who could shine.

This brings me to Hamilton... it was time for him to make a change after so long with Merc, and he needed to reinvigorate himself again, have a new challenge to aim for, he was becoming stale these past few years. So, one of two things will happen with Hamilton at Ferrari, he's no Schumi of course, but he has certainly woken up the Tifosi again, and it would seem they regard him in the same light as Schumi, hoping he will give them a title again. It's been way too long for Ferrari without a driver's title, they've had some of the best drivers since 2007 and still couldn't win a title.

Either Hamilton will excel at Ferrari this year and manage a title right of the bat, or he will be fighting in position 5 and 6 for most of the year, which ultimately will deflate him so much that he'll consider retirement sooner rather than later. Since Hamilton's entry into Formula 1 I've never been his fan, he was the enemy, but I can still acknowledge, respect and appreciate the achievements he has achieved. For once I will be in his corner, along with Le Clerc and hope they can be the duo to give Ferrari the number one spot this year.

Anyhow, let's see how my assessments will play out this season, hopefully I won't have to eat humble pie at the end.

Forza Ferrari!
At least we can regard you as an actual Ferrari Fan...

I am jsut excited to see what new and fun ways to mess with the rules have been found.

I am not a fan of any driver or any team. I watch F1 for the tech and what they do with it.

there are some drivers who I dislike due to their actions and attitude, so some people might think I am a HAM fan because I point out the flaws in Max, but the only driver I would consider supporting because they are just a good egg is Gasly. and we all know he wont do much with his career....

You sure can... I've been a fan of Ferrari since the late 70s and with the likes of Gilles Villeneuve and Jodi Scheckter in the Ferraris. Of course the late 80s early/mid 90s were the comedy Ferrari show, and it's a pity the likes of Prost (the driver's career I supported all the way), Mansell, Berger and Alesi had to endure such a bad car. It had its moments, but it was few and far between. Prost came the closest with Ferrari in 1990 for a Ferrari title, but alas, we know what happened that year.

I do think Lewis will beat Charles by simply finishing races. Charles is the highest DNFer on the grid.

I don't think that's true in recent seasons. Charles makes fewer mistakes and Ferrari has got more reliable as thiis ruleset has matured. I just hope they don't have another mid-season slump.

Software company Atlassian becomes the official Williams title partner, which means the team will now be officially entered in the world championship as Atlassian Williams Racing.

Atlassian also becomes official technology partner and collaboration software partner as part of the long-term deal, which Williams says is “the biggest partnership deal” in its history.

Williams will launch its 2025 F1 car with a special one-off livery this week, on Friday February 14, before the race livery is unveiled next week at the F1 75 event at the O2 Arena in London that all 10 teams are participating in.
