Max may not be WC this year but he is certainly going out with a bang and some outstanding damage control.

Not the most eventful race. That RB is quite something around Monza. Credit to Max for a great performance. Mclaren taking the rest of the podium is great for their championship. Hadjar in the points and Ferrari on the up.

Only today. Last year they struggled here.

What a great race, wasn't falling asleep halfway like many other races.
Red Bull fastest car this race? Yeah right, Yuki in 13th.
Just Max's brilliance to take off all the aero and still can handle it through the corners.
Geez how did Bearman get the penalty?
If Ferrari can't even get a podium at Monza, there is no hope.
At least the Sir did better as there was little cornering and just keep straight and foot flat mostly.

I think Max's heart sank there for a few moments after this.

Yeah overall good race, Max giving the space back and reclaiming it was masterclass. Mclaren trying everything to keep Lando in the hunt.

I understand if the TEAM says do XYZ and then it screws one driver over, then they say ok swop the positions back to be fair.

But a pitstop problem is NOT the drivers fault. You'll notice the lights on the wheel gun, the driver cannot move until those wheel guns register the correct torque that was put onto the wheel nut, if correct the wheel guns lights go green and it sends a signal to the car, when all 4 are green the driver gets a green light to go! This gun said nope, incorrect torque try again.

This was a pitstop problem so lets screw Oscar.... Lando = poor sportsmanship
