Of course it was to Piastri’s advantage to pit first and have fresh boots first.
If they wanna build an F1-capable track they should. Could alternate each other year. Good for tourism. Doubt that they'll be able to raise what's necessary to build it though...Not sure what's wrong with the street circuit that was an option.

Lando did not want to pit first because of the advantage you would get from a safety car. So first both Mclarens stayed out as long as possible and then when only they were left Lando did not want to go first in case of safety car and Piastri gets advantage.
So it was Lando's call and having a slow stop was his problem, not Piastri.

Well Lando's dad did pay Mclaren millions for that seat, so they probably have to favour him.how dare you speak logic :
the undercut Lando is talking about is about Piastri undercutting him, it has nothing to do with LeClerc who was not even in play... now if they did both stops normally and Piastri ended ahead (undercut) then fine swop them around as per their McLaren rules (stupid unless in the lead if you ask me) BUT this was a pitstop error <-- which Piastri clearly mentioned. It seems the team decided not to follow their own rules to favour Lando which is bull. I bet 100% this has been set in stone now going forward.

Team: Lando we will box this lap after the soft tire
Lando: do you want to pit the other car first?
Team: yep we’ll do that. We’ll swap it around so stay out
Lando: well only if he doesn’t undercut otherwise I’ll pit first
Team: There will be no undercut

As far as I'm aware Lando's dad did not pay for his F1 seat. And I don't think any true F1 fan believes that a pay driver with talent is a problem anyway.Well Lando's dad did pay Mclaren millions for that seat, so they probably have to favour him.
Just another Stroll

The Mclaren team order switch at Monza is simply a conditional pit option gone wrong - it was not pretty as most can discern the difference between an undercut due to pace advantage and an undercut due to a bad pitstop. However, it's still a team argument that the option given was subject to a condition of not losing position. Pretty sure Lando knows it's not right but he'll never admit it.
Move on to Azerbaijan.
How about you cite evidence to support your assertion instead of resorting to being a child? We have established many times that you are not as far aware of most things in F1, so please, you can move on.
As much as they say it has nothing to do with last year, imho it would be reasonable to argue it's why Piastri complied. In saying that, if it was a matter of points or no points or a championship on the line he'd probably have driven that car to the finish line. I do think he could've done more to take the position back but perhaps he had reconciled that 3rd was better than risking an incident and his current championship lead.Curious to know if Oscar would have been so compliant had he been behind in the championship and asked to move over. Also, I think he missed an opportunity that a racer like Hamilton, Senna or Schumacher would have taken; namely, to give the place back down the back straight just before the DRS detection zone at the Parabolica. Then stuck to him like glue through the corner, pop the DRS and try take him straight back into turn 1.
