I'm usually properly moeg on a Friday night (I'm a morning person and a work week F's me up). I fell asleep on the couch 2 hours before Sprint Qualifying was supposed to start. Something woke me up a short while later and I decided I was choosing sleep so off to bed I went.

When I woke up this morning at around 4:30am I made sure not to look at my phone to avoid spoilers. I made coffee, sat down and watched Sprint Qualifying and it did not feel like I had timeshifted it - I enjoyed it.

I might have started something for myself here - races must be live for me, but I might start timeshifting late night sessions as I'm old now and choose sleep!

Welcome to the club :)

It is far easier to avoid spoilers than it is to watch live at all costs.
Some times we go away for weekends and so I have got used to watching the recordings on the Sunday or Monday that I get home.
F1 is fun but Family and Sleep take priority these days.

But I will be up until 1am watching the actual race.
Fortunately I can sleep late on Monday.
 
So Oscar just decides its ok to take the apex? There are cars there, mate

I dont see Piastri crashing anything, he just not gonna give a damn about listening to oneside papaya rules nonsense anymore.

Disappointing (but I suppose, at the time understandable) comments from Zac Brown regarding the first corner melee. Hopefully he watches it back and retracts his comments when next he's on air.
 
Yeah, I hope the wheels don’t come off totally now.

Max will always pounce.

I’m happy for either driver to win, but they need to keep their heads
