When Crafty mentions that tower is 22 stories high I remember the hotel in Paris.

It seems teams approach similar parity just prior to new rules because the focus by the big teams shifts to the new regs. I’m not sure how you shake things up unless you standardize a great deal of the large cost factors but then you lose the magic somewhat of what makes F1, well F1. Another option is to remove budget caps and perhaps have some kind of handicap or other system based on budget used.13 races have been won from pole this year. Let’s hope 2026 regs shake that up. The more things change the more they stay the same.

It makes sense. The best / fastest car gets pole. Not a big surprise if the best / fastest car wins the race...13 races have been won from pole this year. Let’s hope 2026 regs shake that up. The more things change the more they stay the same.
You could argue having a fast qualifying car and a car that creates a lot of turbulent air behind could be just as good.It makes sense. The best / fastest car gets pole. Not a big surprise if the best / fastest car wins the race...
That's why it starts from pole! Less need to overtake...the fastest car without fuel and tuned to the max is not necessarily the fastest car in race trim. The point is the fastest car needs to be ALOT faster at most tracks to overtake.
If those 2 are one and the same, then the pole-sitter wine the race...You could argue having a fast qualifying car and a car that creates a lot of turbulent air behind could be just as good.
They don't start on pole "because they want to"! Else there would be 20 cars stacked on the pole slot. Geezlol no. That’s why you want to start on pole, not why it starts on pole.

Wonder if Lewis is regretting his move to Ferrari? That 8th title looks very far away at this moment.
Maybe, maybe not. They stopped development sooner than RB it seems. They're working on 2026. I assume RB has written off 2026 already so going for broke on the DWC.
Why? Its not like he would have won in the Merc. And even if the Merc was better Russell has proven faster than him anyway.Wonder if Lewis is regretting his move to Ferrari? That 8th title looks very far away at this moment.

Worst race of the year for me. Always so boring, worse than Monaco.
I see Lewis Hamilton has broken another formula 1 record... he just doesn't stop!
he takes the record of the longest time for a Ferrari driver to get a podium finish
