F1 2025

13 races have been won from pole this year. Let’s hope 2026 regs shake that up. The more things change the more they stay the same.
It seems teams approach similar parity just prior to new rules because the focus by the big teams shifts to the new regs. I’m not sure how you shake things up unless you standardize a great deal of the large cost factors but then you lose the magic somewhat of what makes F1, well F1. Another option is to remove budget caps and perhaps have some kind of handicap or other system based on budget used.

Unless they can solve the way cars handle dirty air, I can't see this changing soon.

It makes sense. The best / fastest car gets pole. Not a big surprise if the best / fastest car wins the race...

the fastest car without fuel and tuned to the max is not necessarily the fastest car in race trim. The point is the fastest car needs to be ALOT faster at most tracks to overtake.
That's why it starts from pole! Less need to overtake...

You could argue having a fast qualifying car and a car that creates a lot of turbulent air behind could be just as good.
If those 2 are one and the same, then the pole-sitter wine the race...

Maybe, maybe not. They stopped development sooner than RB it seems. They're working on 2026. I assume RB has written off 2026 already so going for broke on the DWC.

McLaren could have probably made either of their drivers champion by now. By continuing to allow the drivers to take points off of each other, they leave the door open for Max.

I see Lewis Hamilton has broken another formula 1 record... he just doesn't stop! 🫣

he takes the record of the longest time for a Ferrari driver to get a podium finish

No wonder Max keeps saying he won't be in F1 anymore by the time he is 40... no matter how good you are, father time catches up to everyone.
