Looks like they found him an Italian tailor who can make clothes that actually fit him.
Must say I thought the same. He usually looks like a turd sprinkled with glitter. And fsck knows where he gets his taste in shoes from.

Not the Lewis fashion stuff again. We've been over this.

High fashion, of which Lewis is a fan. It is not supposed to be something you wear every day and most of it is one-of-a-kind. If his outfits get people talking about it - good or bad - it has served its purpose.

Ah yea, the fashionistas in the khaki broek and plakkies are here to walk us through fashion again.

Because that's what's important in F1 and definitely what we should be discussing.

Clowns.

what bothers me is the fact that LH is the only Driver on the grid who still does what all the F1 greats of old did with regard to fashion. Remember James Hunt and his rockstar lifestyle dating models, and wearing high fasion? how about Nikki Lauda rocking up to race day's in high end fasion?

because the fasion was different, and the drivers were in less public view due to it being a different time, people just ignore it.

by no means do I think what he is doing is a good thing, but its not a new thing either.

hight fasion not your thing? cool ignore it.
the music played in the lead up not your jam? ignore it.
the social media posts endorsing a charity not your thing? ignore it.

if you are here for the racing and the racing only why are you walking about the fashion or even judging him, but you are ignoring Gasly and his fasion choices? what about Max being brand ambassidor for lapha tauri clothing?

it makes no difference, and honestly the discussion about MGK for teh Livery launch had exactly the same amount of relivance as what LH is wearing on his way into the circuit....

I think you'll find that's it's more conservative, Italian, regal style that matches the prestige of the Ferrari brand.

Not that I know anything about fashion at all. I'm just a pleb.

Isn't Hamilton Sponsored by a Fashion House/Designer?
If so then what he wears to races is no different to drivers wearing sunglasses, come rain or shine, or sporting massive wrist watches that are otherwise impractical in the paddock?

Possibly, not sure. I think he's worn items from upcoming/unknown designers in an effort to highlight their work and that sort of thing.
Personally I think he often looks like a chop, but I don't give a toss about that, I'm here for the sport.

The one thing that I have taken from this testing is a comparison of the two commentary teams and I am impressed.

I think I may be in love with Ruth Buscombe ;) she has such a soothing voice yet whatever she has to say is always worth listening too. Sam Collins is also great with his engineering input and the commentary team ar as good as the sky team.
As a result I think that, having dropped my DSTv Subscription this year, I will watch a couple of races on F1TV this season with a possibility of an annual full subscription going forwards.

Sam alone is worth using F1TV for.
ruth is just Icing on the cake. all her years being the race enginer really helped her be insightful to race strategy

Has anyone got the rumoured 4K stream that they are supposedly testing on F1TV?

Sam and Ruth are the two best parts, though I'll add Bernadette Collins in there too, she has some great insights at times and that Irish accent is just great.

Looks like I hit a nerve there regarding his outfits. I'm not even a regular contributor here.
But ja he looks toss most of the time. Whatever, can the racing just bloody begin?

Not really. It was a silly comment and you got some silly comments in response. Almost like a forum.

Do you have any thoughts on testing?

You invested alot of time in that post dude. The Ham fans appreciate it

Did not get time to watch any really.

What is the general feeling so far? Or is it every man for himself?

Eh, it's sort of more of the same. The top 4 are still the top 4.

Stake look kak. Haas look okay but kak. Antonelli has done well overall, looks fast. Still learning how to brake but he'll get there. Lawson seems to be on it, certainly better than KitKatman.

Ham and Lewis trading blows, nothing between them really from what we can tell.

VCarb looks decent. Alpine currently fastest in this session, but it seems to be a hero lap where everyone else is doing more race simulations.

The field looks closer this year.

It's all a bit moot because it's testing and they're all doing different things. No failures yet, a few spins, no crashes.
