Verstappen in trouble? Something happened. Maybe just went wide

Don't think Piastri needs to stop. At worst, he will drop 5 points to Norris. The drivers behind Norris are all on mediums so are effectively in the same boat as Oscar. Norris will burn up those hards in trying to catch Oscar and as Murray used to say, 'catching is one thing, passing is another'.

Lately I feel like Alonso is just phoning it in. Antonelli just passed him on a straight without any defense from Allonso.

That Aston Martin is a draggy SOB. He's a sitting duck down the straight with DRS. Also, he's experienced enough to know there's no point in fighting and risk sticking it in the wall.

They need to bring refuelling back. F1 is missing that variable - extra pit, strategies around wright if the car etc.

In the current state it's follow the leader for most of the races. Everybody picks the same tyre, everybody puts more or less the same.

This is over at the front now. Norris needs to be taking a second a lap just to catch Oscar now, let alone pass him. Assuming Oscar's tyres don't fall off the cliff, this is GG.

They're overhyping up the Norris chase. He has to gain more than a second per lap or Piastri needs to screw up.

That Ferrari engine in the back of the Haas of Ocon has some poke. Doing what he needs to do to frustrate Antonelli and Alonso on much fresher tyres.

There you go, pretty boring race except for some excitement at the start, all because they remove the only variable left that is rain from the race.

Hamilton made up 11 positions, but then he is a 7 time world champ, positioned out of place because he was terrible in qualifying, got the faster tyres first and passed a bunch of backmarkers and "nobodies". When he hit the top 6, that was it.

The top 6 had two positions total, all in the first laps.

DOTD... Hamilton I guess.

Forgettable race.

2 hours late and and too much hand holding from FIA but a great result for Mclaren.
I have no idea why these drivers are being payed Test Pilot salaries but are not allowed to race unless it is safe for a novice to drive in.

F1 is starting to not be worth the time spent waiting, it may be better to start watching race highlights instead.
