Cancel the Mexico Grand Prix.
Probably 2 and 3 pitstop strats then. The tire compounds really should reflect a greater difference though. So no more 1 pitstop vs 2 pitstop strategies? Seems a bit lame.
Why not wait to see how the cars behave next year?
Certainly do miss the lightest car on the newest tires hunting down the front runner on 35 lap old tires who was fueled to the end…Bring back refuelling!

Agree. It seems that Pirelli find the most suitable tires for a 1 stop or 2 stop strategy for a track rather than selecting the least suitable and letting teams figure it out. This range of tire compounds where one week its soft and next week it could be the medium compound is a bit dilly.that's pretty cool, all 3 tyres used... BUT the tyre company must make the 3 tyres vastly different from each other. Not a soft tyre that lasts 75% of the race and then a medium tyre which is slower... thats retarded
soft = 15 laps completely effed
medium = 25 laps completely effed
hard = 35 laps completely effed
It's not as simple as that. The tires differ, but so do the tracks. Some are more abrasive than others, some have more grip etc. Pirelli try to match the available tire compounds to the track characteristics.Agree. Sure it's not simple but it's a little ridiculous they can't produce 3 safe compounds that teams can manage based on the weekend ahead. Heck, why can't it simply be free choice from the 6 available at the very least? It's not as simple as that. The tires differ, but so do the tracks.
