F1 2026

That guy is gonna luck his way to a world championship. But that would pretty much sum up this F1 2026 championship.
 
These commentators and people who would've preferred a red flag so that we could have a race finish under green flag conditions make me sad.

It completely resets the race, all the tyre advantage, strategy calls made etc. effectively nullified.

Red flag it if the cars remain as is.
 
Meh, that's a kak way to end the race. But happy for Charlie boy. He deserved that win.

Wonder if there isn't some sort of rule or reg that can be introduced that states that if a safety car occurs within the last three laps of a race, the race is neutralized until the issue is resolved. Yeah, it would leave some cars potentially bingo on fuel, but would at least make for a proper finish to a race... *just a thought*

Red flag is for when it's needed for safety - i.e. unable to safely clear the car with other cars on track.

Now that His Excellency (H.E.) Mohammed Ben Sulayem has declared himself FIA President for life we cam only expect the FIA to micro manage F1 and drag it down until only the DTS fans actually watch it anymore. Next they will be penalising people for the choice of jewellery...… Oh wait he already did that :rolleyes:

Yeah, what k a k race. And then they screw Kimi with a 5 second penalty. The Ferrari's and Russell lucked into some points here. Kimi would have taken this win easily with his pace.

To be fair he complained about that car way before the race even started. And the car did fail, so it is the car's fault...?

Erm, Im a fan of the man's talent, and the car was good for ±48 laps .... no need to swear like that making it sound like he was given a crap car from the start ... sh|t happens ... look how cool Kimi took his failure.

We can move on now!
