Why is the tires not like previous years, they last only some laps. Now they can drive the stuff nearly a full race.

Because seeing drivers tiptoeing around for 3/4 of the race so as not to spoil the tyres after 5 laps was fracking boring...

Yet they were 4s a lap faster than last year....
The tyres are much harder this year so the drivers can lean on them and actually race.

Brainless Ferrari strategy strikes again.
1 - Should've moved Kimi out of Sebs way, he'd have been closer to Hamilton after the final round of pit stops.
2 - Should've brought Kimi in for tyres a number of laps earlier than they did, he'd have beaten both Red Bulls.
Williams still can't build a car that works in wet/cool conditions.

INDYCAR have announced their new aero direction for 2018 and it comes down;
- Removing most of the appendages that have appeared on their cars in the past few years, which is something we can see happening in F1 (again), in an attempt to minimise ''dirty air'';
- Reducing the downforce generated by the wings, again to minimise ''dirty air'';
- Return of the underwing as the primary source of downforce, which is effectively ground effects.
Basically, everything INDYCAR is reversing is what F1 have just gone and done. I still maintain that F1 is/has gone in the wrong direction in the pursuit of closer racing.

No, Nascar is only ovals, Indycar is race tracks.
