I am looking for a face mask I can wear while I am training to breath easy and sits comfortable, as the mask I am currently wearing makes breathing very difficult.

hmm...all the more reason not to go back to the gym then.

I also have a buff on when I run/cycle and put it over my mouth and nose when I pass someone.

In some ways I would rather go to gym than grocery shopping, I think most gym's have been far more responsible than the general public when it comes to COVID-19 precautions. And I don't have a buff on, it is in my pocket, unless I go in to a shop or public area that requires a mask.

Buffs have apparently been proven to be much less effective in preventing droplet dispersion than masks. Quite a few studies, if you just Google the issue. What gets me is those who think there is any point in wearing a mask or buff if it's around your chin...

Yup, we run a small gym studio and the level of sanitation is crazy. People will sit at a restaurant with no masks close to everyone else with no guarantees on how clean things are or pick up and touch everything in a shop without worrying.
We sanitize during classes and completely sanitize the studio every hour and people complain, go figure

Must admit this one comes in very handy. Got it online from Protekta:
Works amazing! Breathing is a breeze with them. Still mandatory in the Just gyms.

Just get a buff, dont really care about protection at this point more just ticking a box

I see on VA's website they say wearing a mask is still mandatory when doing anything other than cardio.

Masks: Government has released new regulations covering the use of masks in the club. The use of masks is no longer compulsory when members are undertaking vigorous activity, provided that they maintain a 2m distance from other people. A mask must be worn at all other times in the club, including on entry and exit. Our teams will still be masked up and we encourage members to use masks responsibly and with consideration for other members. Virgin Active will also have training masks available for sale in our clubs from 1 September 2020.
