Facebook ends Deals experiment

Facebook has ended the four-month long trial of its Groupon style Deals products

Good choice by Facebook. Good riddance. It will only cheapen its social network, and irritate users.
All these penny auction sites are a PITA, especially all the advertising. Not sure why Groupon is so successful, but I see them tumbling down in a year or two.

There are too many of these 'deals' websites and they seem so annoying!
