So, since their Facebook support is giving me the runaround today, maybe someone here can help.
For full disclosure, the facts:
- Wife ported over to Cell C from MTN in the first week of October
- Initially Facebook didn't work on her sim. She accesses it via Chrome for Android (Galaxy S5). We contacted them 2 weeks ago on Facebook about the problem, and we were lucky enough to get someone clued-up on the day. He fixed it by changing some settings, and it worked til about Monday, when it stopped working again. Today they reset her APN and did a reset(wasn't hopeful about this to begin with, but whatever), still not working.
- All other mobile data sites/services are accessible.
- It works fine with my Cell C sim on her phone.
- It doesn't work with her sim in my phone (S4).
Really baffled by this one. Multiple restarts haven't worked at all. Even weirder is that it got fixed by changing something 2 weeks ago, and now it's broken again, and unfixable.
