Facebook loses Apple approval to use its app-testing tools

Apple is ratcheting up a tug-of-war over privacy with Facebook.

On the heels of a report outlining ways Facebook Inc. is collecting data, Apple Inc. revoked a key set of testing tools that the social networking giant uses to ensure its apps are ready for use on the iPhone and iPad. [Bloomberg]

Not sure it affected the fact that Whatsapp has stopped working on iPhone 4 in December.

One month before it happened, there was an updated version for download and I am pretty sure the update was made for a one reason: to upload to the iPhone users a version that refused to work one month later.

In result getting a message "Your Whatsapp version has expired. Upgrade to the latest....". However there is no newer version for my phone and access to my messages is blocked.
