I wasn't referring to what they do with their enemy. I challenge you to find any army in the world that "has tea and cookies with their enemy", so in this case your sarcasm doesn't do much for your argument.
Armies aren't meant to be treating their enemies well. They're meant to be killing them. I'm not saying that the war in the first place is either not- or justified, but the fact is, armies are armies and armies are there to win wars. If they're "having tea and cookies", I'd assume they're under your command, rather than that of someone who actually knows a thing or two about war strategy.
That said, I was referring to your point - that is, that the army would treat its own as it treats its enemy.
You clearly don't like Israel's foreign policy - looks like you're letting that cloud your judgment in a completely unrelated matter.
