"Facebook rapist" Thabo Bester arrested

In a hastily arranged press conference, often incoherent and with few details provided, the Ministers of Justice and Police confirmed on Saturday that Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana were arrested in Tanzania on Friday night.

Bester and Magudumana were arrested along with a Mozambican national who was assisting them. They were found in possession of several passports, with different names, and none of the passports had been stamped.

Incoherent Beki in his coffee hat. How can our president have the audacity to keep this fool on. His statement made no sense and you can bet he will turn up in Tanzania for the limelight.

It's Beki. The guy's a trainwreck when he has time to prepare. "Hastily" is not where he's gonna shine.

The state's crime intelligence made a big deal about tracing Thabo Bester to Tanzania, monitoring him, and ultimately pouncing on him when the opportunity arose. They make themselves out to have been actively involved in tracking all movements made by Thabo Bester which have led to the arrest, claiming the credit. It does have Hollywood sentiment attached to it, seeing how controversial Thabo Bester’s escape was and how incompetent the state acted up to this point. What is important now is what happens next?

Not only does this prison escape go deeper than Thabo Bester, it also goes deeper than G4S.
 
No way he is going to make it back to SA alive ;) He has too many names in his little black book.

This 100%. Probably pure chance that they were picked up, probably at a random roadblock where they were asking for ID. A lot of these African countries have an insane amount of roadblocks across their countries asking for cooldrink money.

There are far too many unanswered questions around this entire thing. The sheer amount of people that would have needed to be bribed to turn a blind eye is almost too crazy to believe. How did one, seemingly unimportant, man manage to pull this off?
 
I wonder if the Dr paid her outstanding debt to the car dealer for the Merc she took ?
 
Till he escapes again under mysterious curcumstances a la gupta, shaik and zuma
