Facebook has vowed a series of 'improvements' to eliminate clutter and make the website more user friendly

Well I see the changes are being implemented pragmatically - the notifications section has reverted back to "normal" again as of today which is good news...

I agree. There is just too much information. And I just have over a 100 friends. Imagine the home page of those who have more!

Now the birthdays appear at the bottom right instead of the top right which is ****.
And it doesnt seem to say "today" and "tomorrow" but rather Thursday and Friday.
