I got it, had it for awhile, think i helped out ambush there.
I bought it online from Direct2Drive [4.8GB download] .
Anyhow, very cool MMO if you're into a more involved and slower paced MMO. Alot of people say it resembles Star Wars: Galaxies , both games focusing quite extensively on crafting.
Don't get confused with the first person shooter aspect, you WILL craft and you WILL harvest for almost anything. You want a mount? You will make it yourself, want ammo for that sniper rifle? You will make it yourself....in fact you will make the sniper rifle yourself too.
And yes, the combat is first person shooter, no auto-attack , no target locking [tabbing]. You aim, you shoot , mob not there anymore ? you miss.
So i guess it's a tricky MMO (read: old-school and a big learning curve) , alot of people enjoy the EVE-like crafting [yes you also queue up your crafting and log off while it continues offline], but not neccsarily the twitchy FPS combat style. Other like the FPS combat, but hates all the crafting. I think once the game is out awhile and the economy gets going, the bunch that just wants to fight/PvP will drop their crafting in favor of buying these items , and crafters will drop their combat in favor of making ammo/weapons/armor and selling it.
Best thing of the game is the world, it draws you in. It's a realistic world. There's no fast travel , you will cross a gigantic landscape on foot or on your mount.
Short answer: Fallen Earth is as close as you will get to a Fallout MMO .
Oh, the second best thing: ONE Server , NO Instancing. So when someone say "we are hosting a big event in game", then you can actually be part of it, example:

and here i am, i pitched up early because USA time was a little late [1am our time], seems party was already going:

That was the massively party, only the start, was too late for me to wait longer...and yes the dune buggies are player crafted items
And the biggest problem in the game right now? Heehee, i guess this gives an idea of the community
Ok here we go, question #4. What are your thoughts on riding horses into banks? Does the in-game benefit of easy transfers outweigh the loss of immersion and the inconvenience of crowded interiors?
As a crafter I understand that inventory control is a part of the game and having horse inventory near the vault can make thing easy. But we have come to realize that there are places that horses just shouldn't go, and we are looking at ways to cut down on the aggravation this causes.
[Comment from several in the crowd about killing horses and using them for glue]
More outside vaults is probably a more viable solution than horse slaughter.
[Crowd suggests having horses turn into mutant chickens, Dirge: I want a giant chicken to ride!]
I think we all want giant chickens to ride.
