Fallout 3 has got a rigth to its name :)

+1 - I want the same thing :D
Fallout 3 had depth and you saw this in the ways you could have different endings in Fallout 2.
I loved they way when you finish any of the old fallouts it told you what happened to each town.Hope this one does it too.

Talk about over Over-analysing the fact that you cant shoot a kid’s head off in a game. Whenever theres a new popular game released there are these huge philosophical debates.

Bethesda created this huge interactive post-apocolypic city for you to play in! stop complaining.

No they created Fallout 3 which means it has to include the things which were essential elements of the series.

Just saying Gamsutru's essay is a bit overreacting.

I know its not about killing children, but giving you the freedom to do whatever you like, but violence in AAA titles is too much in the spotlight for it to be allowed

Omg dude really grow up such a minor thing you blow up into something big wonder if you even played fallout 3 ?

I agree wholeheartedly with stefan9. I didn't interpret the article as overreaction at all. To rewrite what you said, Jabberwocky, in the way I interpreted the article, "I know it's not about killing children, but about giving you the freedom to do whatever you like with realistic moral repercussions that don't go away."

They really could've implemented those things brilliantly. Some sort of prison perhaps, or a negative perk like "Child killer" which would give you a seriously negative rating with NPCs or reduce certain statistics and attributes of your character.

I agree with the article when it says that it wasn't a problem that Bethesda wanted to confront, but one they wanted to shove under a carpet and pretend doesn't exist ergo winning brownie points with the ESRB.

I did play fallout 3. I wonder if you really did play FO1 + FO 2 as you claim. These are essential elements to those games. They are the things that make many gamers remember those games.

They should have been included. Hopefully modding tools are released soon so someone can put them back in the game.

I enjoy this game ALOT more than that stupid Fallout that was released on the Playstation 2 few years ago that thing should not even have had the Fallout name on it.That game had NO freedom.

New Fallout does fall short in a few ways but nothing really game breaking.
