So i went to Cna at Greenacres mall to print my photos. There was a large Print hanging on those kodak machine writen 50+ R1.99 each (normal price is R2.80 each). So i printed 50 pictures and i handed R100 to the lady at the till and she told me my money is short i must add another R40, I pointed her to the sticker and she told me i only printed 50 pictures so i dont qualify ( to qualify i must print 51 picures so she says) i asked to speak to the manager/supervisor and guess what she also said the same thing. To my understanding i needed to print 50 pic or more to get the discount, i would like to hear from you guys if i am wrong. i ended up adding another picture to make them 51:mad:

I have took the pic of the advert , have a look and let me know what does it mean to you , thank you.

They should tell you about the 1 extra photo needed to qualify for the special when you hand in the memory card (good customer service). When I shop at PnP, Checkers etc the staff usually tell me to take another item when the second is free or discounted.

I suppose it's a matter of principle more than a matter of the R1.99? I wouldn't know if the + makes the 50 inclusive or not so i'd ask before I print.

I also see it as MORE than 50... in other words 51 or more.

it would have said 50 or more if that's what they meant, but they meant more than 50, hence 50+

fifty is just "50", more than fifty is "50+"

I see it as being "50 or more". I would fight for the price advertised.

To my understanding 50 is the minimum requirement , (+ means even if you print more than that (50) you still pay R1.99)

Yep, thats how I understand what a + after a number means.

Please tell me you printed an extra one to get the special, and didn't pay full price.

50+ means "50 or more" not "more than 50".
Thats how I see it.

However, the fact that CNA are not willing to compromise with the client and give them that price over 1 picture difference (when 50 have been printed already) is pretty much why CNA is a dying brand.
