Anyone got any news from IS? I can barely download my mail. Normally local is fast, today I don't even want to attempt international ...

When is the pain going to end?

Bad weather = packet loss. IS should investigate alternative methods of connectivity to compensate for this situation, even if it means using SAIX!

And on that note, 2 more days till my IS subscription expires, which I won't be renewing.

Yeah, I could understand if this was international problems ... but this is local! What did the fibre connections get flooded and they're now refracting light at different angles causing packet loss?

IS sucks as usual.

The most amazing thing though, is P2P is better than normal, and I am soft-capped. Everything else is a bloody disaster.

yay im sitting at an amazing 42kbps on a 384 connection, which places me between 33.6 & 57.6 dial-up

My is fine today:

Good Speeds from IS

A couple of days ago I was getting 15kB/s international on a capped (eg only local + very slow international) account. It went on the whole weekend. :D

I have actually had quite a pleasant experience experience using IS. :D :)
