Mikel seems to be a fringe player at Chelski... SMOKEY come give us some input ya :)
 
Last year we had 2 leagues, is that gonna be re-opened or will this new one be THE league ?

Cech injured
Apparently Cech might miss a few starting games in the EPL due to his injury, not good for Chelsea.
This could be a weak link, chelsea's 2nd and 3rd goalkeepers.

Who are you captaining in your team?
I'm choosing Rooney, he is the alpha male in ManU.:twisted:
 
Mikel is going to get quite a more prominent role this year but if he messes up he won't be in the first team plans after January. I'm not gonna join - always hated these online things. One week holiday from it and you mess up an entire season.

If I had to choose a team for the entire season (and not change it say...) the the following...

Cech
Cole
King
Carvalho
Brown
Giggs
Cole
Benayoun
Arshavin
Torres
Van Persie

It's called the Injury Prone players plus some good ones where I couldn't think of an injury prone player to put (Ashley Cole, Cech and Giggs - though to be fair, Giggs is there because at his age he's like an injury prone mid 20s player... doesn't play often enough to be counted, at least I'm thinking that his role will be reduced this season)
 
I don't blame you for not playing, and it's not like you're missing out by doing so.
Looking at your selection, I think you're on the money(points I should say) with regards to Torres and V Persie, V Persie especially if he is fit because he'll be the main set piece taker for Arsenal.
 
it's just fun ya... I missed a lot of weeks in the last season but still makes you want to watch every match in the EPL to pick the right players
 
Good news, ManU won against Chelsea.
I've made peace with J. Evans and now he's on my team because he looks like he'll be a regular started.
Any of you not going with lampard?

too expensive. i settled for Gerrard for now.
 
I have Rooney and Defoe upfront. can anyone match that pairing ?

Gerrard, Rooney, Arshevin and Defoe.

i must admit that i do have 1 or 2 "suspects" in team but i think i will be fine :)

Now with Drogba and Lampard being possibly injured, I'm really considering Defoe.
Read an article that Tottenham will easily beat MC because MC don't have balance, but surely MC have improved.
