Another great ambassador and even greater sports man lost to the country. Farewell Polly and good luck with your future ventures (I international cricket)

Just a pity it is for the wrong reasons. We all know what it is and what is to become of this shiithole called SA.

Farewell Polly, what a great guy. Hopefully he'll take his year off and realise he made a mistake and come back in '09.

Ya, well done polly.

Fantastic send off for him.

I thought it was a teeny weeny bit over done...

Why? because it was done spontaneously by many thousands of fans. You are just show jealous. i am sure you would have a different viewpoint if it was a Muslim forced to retire.

Lol no man....

I liked the atmosphere yesterday, I was at the game also screaming everytime Polly got the ball, and going mad after every ball of his last over, it was fun.

But putting him in to hit the last runs... in two games?

Making him joint man of the series... not so ok.
Its a send off all cricket players would love... none of them have.

But good on him. Still feel it was overdone, maybe the series was so damn boring, they gave it some life by saying bye to Polly.

Well done Mr Pollock.

(just to pith off BunniBoy: "Polly who?")

Only reason it was boring for you is because your favourites (anything anti but white south African cricketers) was outclassed and outwitted.

Back on topic, I wonder if Gibbs really did get himself out on purpose to put Polly in, if he did then he should be commended.

Oh and JK8, I thought you didn't support SA? :D

Lol 51 posts and you know me...
I went to the game knowing SA was gonna win...
The game was anything but boring, did you even watch it?
