I'm so sad today... so sad :(
Why!!!??
I'll miss the frustration of browsing through GeoCities sites.

"If you're making fun of GeoCities dying," he wrote, "you're too young to understand."

Wow... Now there's something I haven't thought about in a long time...

Back when I thought a webpage that was colourful and had marquees everywhere was cool...

A sad day indeed as I also started out in geocities. My interest in the internet and how it works (which has lead me to my current career) also started there.

Question: is there still a demand for creating your home page, like geocities? Or is everyone too busy with social networks?

Geocities was the Web 2.0 Facebook and MySpace is now.

You'll find if you're a band that you'll probably go with MySpace and a Facebook Fan page. Numbers speaks for themselves.

I'm not surprised that they shut down Geocities.
