In your mind it is out of the realm of possibility that inflammatory comments made by authoritarian and batshit crazy politicians will not incite people to go out and harm others who they perceive to squander or steal wealth?

It is not beyond the realm of possibility. There's always the odd idiot here and there. But to go out and do violence requires a commitment most of these voting fodder who fawn over politicians lack. You don't just show up to a farm and start killing, you need to scout, get some info on the comings and goings of the potential victim. And a whole host of other ****. Even the street muggers are careful how they pick and approach their victims.

As a rule I am opposed to blank cheques where political support is concerned.

People will trust anyone that seems to be "on their side", in SA they are especially guilable when someone tells them how much of a Christian he is.

Not related to farm murders..but where are the police? I'm in a town that is the HQ for police in the EC. It's all here. Vehicles, staff, office buildings. Everything. You never see a Police van.

WTF do they do all day? They getting paid. But you never see them or their vans.

We had an attempted break in here before I went on holiday. Thieves leasurly just cut the glass out from the window frame. Probably a 2 hour job. They had time. Noone saw ****all. In a main Street. No cops. No patrols.

Cops get their salary every month. Don't lift a finger to do any actual work.

This is in a town with cops and vans in abundance....

Now, think about rural areas outside of towns?
