Farm Attacks

How do you know the murder was not premeditated? How do you know they were not lured out of their farm under false pretences?
Please don't be stupid. I got my info from the quoted article.
For it to be anything more there needs to be some evidence to suggest that.

"His alleged killer was killed by neighbouring farm workers after he crashed the bakkie into a pole. Potgieter's body was found inside the vehicle."

Interesting that. It's sad when every serious issue in Sa gets hijacked by idiots trying to further their own selfish goals.

I really wish they would make displaying the old Sa flag in a public space a criminal offence, much like Germany does with nazi flags.

It's obvious the point a person is trying to make by waving the old flag at an event like this and then in the same breath they are complaining about farm murders, stupid doesn't even come close to explaining that behaviour.

He is thought to have been running to the farmstead to raise the alarm when he was killed
opened fire on the two with his 9mm pistol – apparently in self defence – firing 11 shots.

This was definitely not self defense.

Why was the thread title changed?

Thread defends itself valiantly? I could not understand it one bit, this is not a thread about something nice and to boast about it's staying power? But probably whoever added that bit thought differently.

If pointing out faults in your argument is stupidity...
Don't worry, it will soon be tested in court

So Terreblanche's murder was also not a farm murder? and all the other incidents where farm workers kill their employers, where farmers kill their workers, that Brits farmer who was killed by his neighbours also does not belong here?

Nope

The original thread was called "The Farm Attacks Thread".
Obviously a mod then changed it to "The Farm Attacks Thread (I forget what was in the brackets, but yeah it was something about 'defending itself valiantly')
It was like that for most of the its life...until yesterday.
So I was just curious about why it was changed.
(Someone obviously moaned about it, otherwise it would've remained the same.)

Yes then we will know the truth. Or when we get more information we'll know what really happened. Normally the simplest scenario is correct. That is: They had a meeting, things escalated and shıt happened. So I would hold of before we assume some grand plot of premeditated murder.
The article is not clear about whether the deceased also had a weapon, that would be necessary for me before we can call it self defence.

I think I have a pretty good idea why there appears to be some nit picking on the farm attacks and murders, some just don't bode well with the genocide narrative.

If you have seen some other post you'll know what it's about. :roll my eye (because this little one  doesn't quite cut it). But then you lot don't... oh never mind, I'll just :roll my eye

Some snide little **** suddenly has egg on his face and has shown the forum how stupid HE actually is ;)

Feel free to link me to threads where you have done this before today ... oh never mind ;)

There's nothing in the article that suggests the meeting even took place. What if he lured them to their deaths? We don't know at this point

RIP and condolences to families and friends. Tragic.

Any murder that happens on a farm is a farm murder. Its rather simple.
The "murder" part is still in question in the latest times live article posted.

From the article,

Khoza‚ who had previously helped Norris on his farm‚ was shot three times in the neck and twice in the back. He is thought to have been running to the farmstead to raise the alarm when he was killed.

I don't see anything about self-defence on the article.
