And if you think something else/opposite, we'd love to see your video or post...
I don't think anybody would disagree with that.

Yea, since the guards or not there no more, seems to be a few people trying their chances. But I have to admit, our area is pretty ok when it comes to patrols and support.
Our power went out last night at around 21:15 or there about. (Whole area) was still off when we left this morning for work. No idea what the issue was this time. But yes, made for some interesting sleeping last night![]()

I have a few of these Magneto LED rechargeable lights (R199, Dischem, Makro and other places) , if power goes off I go hang then on their screws outside for a lit yard, single-row-active setting enough to light up yard, and it claims to last over 20 hours per charge.
THATThe quietness of it all last night. Makes one's imagination run all over the place. I kid you not, I was actually convinced a few times I'm hearing someone in the house![]()
Johannesburg - Two men have been convicted by the Pietermaritzburg High Court and will be sentenced next year after they pleaded guilty to a farm attack.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said the duo, Sibusiso Mbatha, 23, and Ayanda Mncube, 21, were convicted for murder, kidnapping and robbery with aggravating circumstances. The case was postponed to 22 January for sentencing.
"On 4 November 2017 at 5:30, the victim, Daniel Swanepoel, 57, was alone at his farmhouse at Eensgevonden, Vryheid, when he was attacked by the suspects," Zwane said.
"His wife was not at home at the time. The suspects severely stabbed the victim, demanding credit cards and cash from him."
Zwane said the victim told Mbatha and Mncube that he didn't have any money, which led to them continuing to stab him.
"The man died as a results of injuries he sustained. The suspects waited for his wife to return and around 15:00 on the same day, his wife arrived and she was grabbed by the suspects."
"They forced her into her vehicle and drove away. She was forced to withdrew cash from the nearby ATM, using her credit cards."
Kimberley - The general worker who was arrested in connection with the brutal attack on an elderly couple who employed him on their smallholding near Kuruman, is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself at the Kathu police station on Thursday.
The man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of Danie “Kat” Fourie, 70, as well as the vicious assault on his wife Mariaan, 63.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sergio Kock, said that police discovered the suspect’s body inside the Kathu police station holding cells on Thursday morning.
“The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated. The outcome of police investigations will determine whether the case will be closed,” said Kock.
Fourie, 70, is believed to have been stabbed to death and his body dumped on a plot in Seoding village, near Kuruman, during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Durban – The premier of KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday, said it was time to take a stand against farm murders and talk openly about “the problem”.
“I think it is important to take a stand now; the killing of farmers is a problem. When we talk with farmers it seems as if this problem is based on or directed at them as farmers. We need to talk about this, since the protection of most of the farmers is based on correcting the mood and well-being between the farm workers, farm dwellers and neighbours,” said Premier Willies Mchunu.
Mchunu, who is also the deputy chair of the provincial African National Congress, was speaking at a Jan Slabbert memorial lecture in Vryheid on Thursday afternoon. A former Vryheid mayor, Slabbert was an Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Member of Parliament before leaving to form his own party. He later joined the ANC.
Mchunu said that the isolation of farms meant that many farmers were vulnerable.
“We need to create an atmosphere of being ‘your brother’s keeper’, where neighbours and passers-by will report all suspicious people.”
Strong communication ties and systems amongst the farming community should be part of a prevention strategy, he said. This, combined with an improvement in labour relations between farm owners and farm dwellers, would go a long way in creating a protective environment.
Durban - A farmer has sustained several injuries after being attacked by a group of men in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands on Sunday.
Netcare 911 spokesman Nick Dollman said in a statement that at approximately 4.30pm on Sunday, paramedics from the service had responded to reports that the farmer had been attacked on a rural sand road approximately two kilometres from his farm in the Mooi River area.
Plates already off.
Most importantly, the 2 were not killed.
Criminals did not get the genocide memo.
Seems like they wanted the weapons.Which memo did they receive?
