Shooting anyone is sick, but a kid is a special kind of ****ed up.

Agreed 200% man. The world just seems to be going backwards right now what with terror attacks, mass shootings and this sort of sick crap going on.

Had an attack next door to us at around 21:00 heard the shots (3). Owner heard them trying to break open the door and he shot at them. He thinks he might have hit one. Police and community patrol car in our area now. I'll be sleeping like a baby tonight with all these people here .

Luckily neighbor and family fine. They didn't get in.

So the long story came out last night regarding the attempted break-in at our neighbours.

They are tenants, yesterday morning they found wire hung on their electric fence. (So they tested if it was working night before last).

As it turns out, the tenants has not been paying their electricity. So the owner came and switched it off and locked the power box. (I assume the owner pays the power and it's to be paid up and above the rent). No idea how long their power has been off seeing as it's the 9th already. Either way, it was only 2 perps of which I assume they noticed the power is off and no-one is home. So it wasn't an attack but an attempted break-in. Great relief...

Had someone trying to get into neighbours house on Thursday night, Close enough, could be the same chappies...
Problem there is vigilance, Place was lit up like daytime within seconds and cars everywhere within minutes.

We think the lights (people with hunting torches from several angles) chased them into the bush and the cars/quads chased them off.

Not a single shot fired :)

Yea, since the guards or not there no more, seems to be a few people trying their chances. But I have to admit, our area is pretty ok when it comes to patrols and support.

Our power went out last night at around 21:15 or there about. (Whole area) was still off when we left this morning for work. No idea what the issue was this time. But yes, made for some interesting sleeping last night
