Farm Attacks

I have not seen any "bleeding heart denialists" either in this thread or in real life. No one denies that the farm attacks are brutal. Us "bleeding hearts" just want to point out that the brutality is not limited to white people.

"A REAL objective inquiry" is not necessary to show that both black-on-black crime and black-on-white crime in South Africa is often extraordinarily brutal. An objective inquiry would show that black-on-white violent crime is a tiny proportion of the total violent crime.

I did not intend to lable you (or anybody in specific) as bleeding hearts, I meant to take two polar opposites and everything in-between. Likewise I do not wish to be labeled as some redneck-white- power-tendency stereotype.

I dare also say that an objective inquiry would show that per capita blacks are more likely to commit these crimes, whether whites or blacks themselves are targets. Despite naming race myself, race should be taken out of the equation and African vs. Western culture focused on.

That's the point is it not most of them seem pretty sub human. They also seem to take pleasure in having someone who used to be the baas at their mercy

Which suggests theft is not the only motive.

We at last have an agreement and i can rest my case. We know black farmers and victims are also attacked but the savage violence must have some definite undertones and what you stated is only a part of it. What Malema and others said and have done does not help the situation. Not even in ZIM was the violence on farm attacks and farm take overs as violent as in this country. There is just no parallel for this degree of sadistic violence antwhere for it anywhere in the world.

It is probably worth noting that the ISS have said a small minority of cases appear to be pure first but for most them it is economic crime and in a lot of the murders you'd think there's current or former farm worker involvement.

It is worth qualifying that the dominance of someone better than the criminal is not limited to a certain race.

It would depend on how they identify the difference.

In my book an economic crime would be break in and steal, at the most tie up the victims.

As soon as there is violence it proves theft is not the only motive. You don't torture someone just because you want their phone or some money, even if you can't find it.

So after reading this thread for a while I wanted to reply with a long explanation and my views on this. But you know what, you all know these attackers are SAVAGES, Inhumane, uneducated and mostly non Christians. Does not matter what the race. All I can say is that Land Claims and the Leaders of this country plays a big roll on these attacks.

Killing the most important people in the land is just stupidity. Farmers creates jobs, grow crops and most of all helps build the economy.
By attacking the farmers for property or whatever reason will just cause more jobs to be lost, starvation and increase of crime in the country.

For those of you who cannot see that, you are just as big of an IDIOT as the attackers.

Wouldn't it then be classed as two crimes? Robbery and attempted murder/assault with intent to cause gbh?

When has there ever been an attack that resulted in the criminal gaining ownership of the land?

Are you answering my question with a question?

(No, I'm not a farmer)

Thanks for your reply. Let me enlighten you on your question. It is definitely a motivator as we have experienced it in real life. My dad employees informed us that there was an attack planned from one of the tribes who claimed the farm. Of course we were in a better position to prepare for it. The day came and they were forcefully removed from the land by our security after breaching 3 fences and cutting locks. Now this does not answer your direct question, but proves it being a big motivator to get rid of the opposition. Any further questions?

Is your property in the latest Afriforum case?

EDIT: Is your farm in the Winterton area?

Besides in Zim?
We weren't talking about Zimbabwe but I'd say there is a fair bit of political collusion between government and the farm attackers here. I don't see Zuma going on tirades about exiling the Colonial farmers etc etc
