Let me counter that with another question - regardless of "who it is", do you think they care about 1 day of blocked roads and changing a t-shirt?

It's ok if there are servcie delivery protests, burning down buses and schools. But it's not ok for the farmers to show their grievances in a peaceful way? People like you are making this a racial issue. Ofc it matter who starts this shyte. It's you libtards making it race issue when it's not. Farmers (of ALL races) are gatvol of being attacked and killed and there is no help from Government in this regard. Not a single Government official is speaking out against farm attacks. Not at all. It made sense back then due to the uncertainty facing the country and having those type of structures in place.

But it was never replaced by something else. There is no reason why the Komandos can't be put in place again now or something similar. The country has come a long was since the end of aparatheid. There is no need to fear a structure run by the SANDF.

I said I was attending to work and busy, so made a post to address everyone.

I defend a lot of views on this forum, I have argued/debated with most members on here. All I want is to find real solutions and to help EVERYONE. Not one race, not one gender, not one religion.

we don't even need to debate this actually - have your protest on Monday, come back in 1 month and tell us what has changed. Tell us how changing a shirt and blocking a road is going to stop criminals, since we all did the exact same thing to protest Zuma, and e-tolls, and poaching...

There is a reason the thread has the title(thread defends itself). Go read the first few pages of this thread. Go read anything etienne and marine writes. Go onto stormfront as a detour and read the **** written there. Go onto facebook/youtube and read comments.

Yes, protesting will achieve f'all, unless so violent that one accidentally overthrows the state and the new government priorities safety and security, it's all wasted effort while the energy should be directed to something else which will make a change.

Setting up community security structures (if there are not already) and communication systems and security and firearms and first aid and other training and securing yards and homes (most of the articles about this indicate the people are attacked at home or in yard, either they wake up or go investigate a noise or the criminals just walk in an open door or when coming home from church or elsewhere) and the workers must also be involved involved in their own but non-compromising-your-own-security way. The saying is "'n boer maak 'n plan", so don't leave it up to a government to make a plan, they not as competent at making plans as a boer is, or there would be a "'n regering maak 'n plan" saying ...
