Does he have a FARM ???????????
And yet they're allowed to walk amongst us....![]()
Yeah, the mob will care about the law when they come. That pro bono lawyer will protect the farmer from the mob and the EFF. You are dilusional.Seems you have NO understanding of the LAW
NO I will not be assisting -- THAT is what ATTORNEYS are for -- you can even get pro bono legal aid !
I always thought that certain corrupt politicians had a monopoly on -- "screwing" ........
WHEN are these people going to LEARN ?
There are hundreds perhaps thousands of articles on Farm safety and Farm security
Just have a look at Farmers Weekly / Landbou
One can only try and help so far -- THEN -- it is up to the individual
I no longer have ANY sympathy for idiots like this that are caught unprepared / unaware !
( with the firearms "safely" locked in the safe -- waiting to be stolen when the perps "acquire" the keys" )
Have you ever stayed or even lived on a farm?
People have stayed on farms for many a generation and not a single fig stolen from a tree. Then one day, intruders storm/rob/murder/torture/rape the people on that exact farm. Yes, people in general belief it will not happen to me/us. And it shouldn't. being robbed/tortured/raped/murdered because you left a back door open for a breeze doesn't make anyone complacent or lax.
It's a refusal to be locked up in a jail because of circumstances.
You are a moron...
Not sure you should be dishing out insults but let's put that to one side.
I look after our suburbs NW and I agree.. don't blame victims.
I accept that suburbs are different from farms
Having said that (and speaking generally) there are common sense minimums
We analysed the crime events over the last 5 years
- About 70% of the houses have pretty good to good security
- The remaining 30% accounted for 78% of the incidents.
In SABlaming victims makes someone a moron, there is not other way of putting it.
Parking your car in the street overnight with it unlocked and the key inside is stupid. Having your house invaded with or without security is not being stupid. You should not be attacked inside your own damn house/yard
.
In SA
SHOULD NOT BE -- being the operative delusion
I am afraid you are being seduced by some sort of idealism that does NOT exist !
I am afraid judging by the stats it appears you are living in some kind of alternative dream World
In SA violent crime can happen to anyone anywhere -- more so if you are on a farm and -- WHITE !
Well there you goYeah, the mob will care about the law when they come. That pro bono lawyer will protect the farmer from the mob and the EFF. You are dilusional.
AgreedYeah, because the scummy **** breaking in will come across a non white person and apologize for trespassing. These arseholes don't care about your white skin, they will bloody kill and steal from whoever they come across.
Well there you go
THE MOB -- precisely the core of the problem .......
There is NO understanding of the law or how it should operate
Not even by the police or judicial services
ERGO
Looking at the very low conviction rate -- Crime pays
Perhaps some kind person could provide
The stats for the number of farm attacks
and
The number of successful apprehensions
and
The number of successful convictions
You should get a temporary ban for even inviting him back to the thread tomorrow, the guy just makes me so tired, it's commendable that you guys entertained him for so long but tomorrow we must move on.I think you've lost track of that conversation a bit there. Maybe you should relax a bit and come back to this again tomorrow.
Farmers and police in a remote northern KwaZulu-Natal farming area worked together to stop two armed robbery suspects in their tracks on Wednesday. Police spokesperson Col Thembeka Mbele said three men had allegedly held a farm worker at gunpoint in her room on a farm in the Kingsley area, early on Wednesday morning.
"The victim screamed and her employer came to help. The suspects fled on foot across a nearby river," she said. "Kingsley police were called to the scene and neighbouring police stations and local farmers were alerted. "Mbele said a manhunt for the trio ensued. "The two suspects were spotted in the Hattingspruit policing area and were arrested.
"Police recovered balaclavas, a crowbar, an angle grinder and the barrel of a rifle.
Thank youFarmers, cops work together to catch robbery suspects
But it's not just one swallow, many other good stories, but giving credit where it's due is just not our thing. Horror stories and cops who don't care because they support the government sponsored genocide are the most favoured stories.Thank you
Obviously a good story -- ONE good story
A statistician will tell you -- One swallow does not a summer make
Please may we get to the full and complete story according to the -- STATS !
PS ;
YOU should be banned for encouraging others to ban -- <wagging my finger>
I am quite happy to give credit where credit is dueBut it's not just one swallow, many other good stories, but giving credit where it's due is just not our thing. Horror stories and cops who don't care because they support the government sponsored genocide are the most favoured stories.

I am quite happy to give credit where credit is due
Perhaps you could provide us with more of these - "good-stories" relating to farm attacks
The crunch being of course the actual conviction and sentencing of the perps
PS:
That link of yours was quite educational
( Slightly off topic -- but goes to the matter at hand )
