The stellenbosch farming community is fuming about this, they don't have much choice but to take it seriously. This is the main topic of discussion wherever you go around here this week.

And Cyril better pull his head out of Jacob's arse and do something or there will definitely be fun times ahead in this town, that is a gaurantee.

Probably as most poor people are black? And I wouldnt say most victims of local crime is white, as chances are its not true. Most victims are farm murders maybe, but that's because most farmers are white.
 
Last night on E news there was a lady telling how she was shot and then raped. Thereafter they tried to rape her 14 year old daughter in front of her. That did not work then they raped her again in front of the daughter.

This is much more than normal crime.

So these people are criminals because they are poor? You believe this BS? You believe they are murderers and rapists too because they are poor?

Demographics. A large percentage of SA population is black people. Victims are white because most commercial farmers are white. In many cases, perpetrators are known to the victims.

If he's going to attribute it to all black people like most people do then, yes he's a racist. Criminals are more brazen now due to collapse of systems that monitor criminal activities. Criminals only care about themselves.

The word probably should indicate to you that I was speculating, I actually have no idea. I can speculate more and say there are more blacks, added from a poorer and more violent background. But it still stays speculation.
 
Farm attacks have 'doubled' in Western Cape since last year, says AfriForum

The number of farm attacks reported in the Western Cape more than doubled in the first five months of 2019 compared to the same period in 2018, says AfriForum.

The organisation announced farm attack statistics for 2019 at a media conference on Monday. A total of 184 farm attacks, including 20 murders, were recorded between January 1 and May 31.

AfriForum said most of the attacks were recorded in Gauteng (51), followed by North West (28) and Limpopo (27).

AfriForum said the Western Cape had recorded 16 attacks and three murders thus far in 2019.

“Attacks in the Western Cape increased extremely, in such a manner that more than double the number of attacks were reported from 1 January to 31 May 2019 compared to this period in 2018,” said Ian Cameron, AfriForum’s head of community safety.

I find those Maroela Media comments VERY interesting ....
It would appear MOST people just do NOT have a proper full understanding of what is going on.
Their knowledge is atrocious -- MAU MAU in Kenya is now -- "Moi Moi" WTF !
They appear to think that prayer alone will save them without doing anything THEMSELVES.
In just about EVERY case the victims have been "easy-targets" ..........

You know my opinion. I don't think you are stupid, you are just being obtuse.
So demographics you say..... Most white people stay in cities, not on farms. So why don't we read about all those white people being murdered, raped, mutilated ? I'll tell you. Farmers are easy targets. In town you don't have all that time to act out these barbaric acts.
Now lets go back in time, Zulu/boer war. How those young white kids were murdered ? Was it because of being poor and hungry ? I rest my case.

You pointed out the fact that institutions intended to deal with these situations failed to correctly resolve the matter. To me this is no surprise. There is no political will power nor the capacity to handle the land mess the likes of the ANC and EFF have created. And the cynic in me believes that the heat is deliberately being turned up.
