Farm Attacks

Where did I say farmers mustn't defend themselves? I said they cannot go it alone.

Political noise is the least concerning thing. Remember what happened in Eshowe when a security guard shot and killed a trespasser?

In another incident a kid drowned and it caused chaos.

Now have a bunch of guys in tactical gear driving around and then people start getting shot at and driven off. Throw in political agitation and you really have to be ignorant to things to not see where this could possibly end up.
Private security in tactical gear is already a thing. I don't understand what your problem is.

It has ended up here. People getting their throats cut and left bleeding to death in front of their families. WOMEN. Pregnant women. Mother of God. It has reached an evil evil point...

The only point of yours that I agree with is quoted in bold font.

The rest of your post is scape-goat reasoning for not getting involved.

If you care that people are being murdered for no good reason and want to make a difference, those reasons are cowardice.

Fsck political sensitivity. People are getting murdered! People. Human beings. I hate most of them but, Jesus... surely we can help. The government is hushing it because it fits their racist agenda. Time to show them that we won't stand for it. I can't do it alone. I don't even know where to start.

EDIT: Fsck these tweets and youtube clips. EVERYBODY KNOWS what is going on. NOBODY is doing a thing. Myself included.

Give me a solid tactic to combat it and I will come home to assist. I can't think of one.

I like to call it reality, where violent acts of revenge (evidence linked in a previous comment) and inflammatory political rhetoric are in play.

PS - Private security in suburbs work with and have the support of SAPS. Even my local community policing forum works with SAPS. By all means mobilise and arm yourselves, just make sure you have support from local government/law enforcement so when things escalate you don't get thrown under the bus like the guys were in the Cape.

It is NOT revenge! Protection.

This is fscking Rhodesia all over again. Look where those dumb fscks are sitting with all the blood on their hands. "hErE HaVe MoNeY To CoMe BaCk PlEaSe..."...

Not real money and they don't really want them back.

What are you on about?

A security guard shot a guy for trespassing. In revenge the community burned the farm down.

A farmer chased people off his land for trespassing. In revenge the community burned the farm down.

We have politicians spewing all sorts of bile about farmers and land owners.

This isn't an environment where you go rambo and its all good.

I'm all for farmers protecting themselves, but it isn't lost on me how out of hand things will get if there is no support from government on this.

Farmers or their security should torture these fcks when caught. Cut their fingers off, pour salt on the wounds, cut their throats and to make sure put a bullet in the head. Make this news for the other fcks who want to target farmers.

You have one bad example of a security gard that was in the wrong vs thousands of security guards that do their job every day.

Nobody is saying go all rambo.

Let's go full conspiracy mode say it is intentional, now what? How do we fix it?

Idk dude, it is really not an easy thing to fix. The best would be to get rid of this government and have the country be governed by people that actually want our country to be the awesome place it can be. Have a government that will not just sit back and watch the total lawlessness take place, have one that does it's job and protects it's people.

Just don't make a video recording of it.

I gave two examples, one of those examples involved a death that was not caused by the farmer or security and yet the farm was trashed in revenge.

How many of those thousands of security guards work in a politically charged environment? The security in Clifton were also doing what they were hired to do and even worked directly with SAPS, but that didn't mean a thing when the usual suspects waded in and made it a mess because it fit their agenda.

Farmers need support on this because of the politics involved. They need to know that if they start actively countering these attacks they're not going to be chucked under the bus. Also the scope of the previous Commando System, if something like that was re-implemented I don't even think government could fund it on its own so it would have to be everyone getting involved. At its peak there were as many as 70,000 operators.

There's a video circulating of tractors, trucks etc blocking roads supposesly in protest against farm murders.

Has anyone seen it and do you believe it? Reason I ask is those tractors all look newish.

It's not the footage from Makwasi so Black Monday 2 years ago.

EDIT: as usual can't post video.

There you go:

Some more articles (one also showing the suspects):

That image makes more sense. I saw a different article and was thinking that Donderdagoggend was a very unusual surname.
