Having said that, one report from an alternative source said that a shot from the 1976 protesters went off before the police starting shooting, but another said that a molotov cocktail (not thrown but inserted into a vehicle) was ignited after breaching the fence. Who knows what really happened.

There's a whatsapp video doing the rounds of a young guy named Willem Petzer explaining what he witnessed regarding the shots fired and why the Nyala (Casspir?) was being pushed around and the cop car turned over.

According to the video , the cops shot 3 rounds towards the protesters after the boere forced their way into the courthouse after the peaceful protests were finished. A police Nyala then came crashing into the wall of the court house, apparently aimed at some of the protesters. The protesters then pushed the Nyala back towards the gate. A police car then made its way into the court-yard aimed at the protesters at which point the protesters overturned the vehicle. The police Nyalas fled and the roads were blocked off by tractors afterwards to stop any further action by the cops.

The coffin dudes just scared a thief.... these guys tortured someone to death...... I would be the first to stick a knife into one of them regardless of whether the victim was white or black.

Ah ok, so what's the cut-off point in terms of the seriousness of crime for handing over perps to a mob then Rambo?
 
Crime is just totally out of control.

Three shot in farm attack near Klipheuwel, Durbanville

Three people were attacked and shot during an armed robbery in their home in the early hours of Saturday [September 26] morning.

It turns out that this is the same guy that we have ordered a built to order double bunk from for my daughter. The guy has been in ICU since the 26th and his wife is also still in hospital. Their daughter sent us an email yesterday to say that the delivery will be delayed due to this. Only then realized it was the same guy.
