He covers a lot of ground, but some key points are:

* Peaceful protest, people brought their children and babies along
* Small media was there, of the big media only SABC was there
* He mentions two shots, not three. He is under the impression the shots were aimed at the farmers and went past their shoulders in his opinion.
* News24 only climbed on the story once things got rough (when shots were fired I think)
* News24 article nonsense. Article composed of imagery from social media and in wrong sequence, notably the police vehicle set alight first which actually happened much later.
* He watched the video of the police commissioner who is claimed to have sourced News24 and the allegations made in the article are not in the video but he admits that those things may have been said later by the commissioner.
* Only a handful of farmers entered the building, they were checked for arms before allowed to enter.
* The police in the building fired the shots, not 'perhaps' farmers outside.
* There were 2 Nyala's, when the second one rammed into (toward) a woman and her 2 children a farmer grabbed/tackled them to safety.
* This was when the other vehicle was toppled in order to 'disarm' it and preventing ramming.
* The Nyalas/police were blocked off to prevent chaos, this led to a peaceful situation where people resumed praying.
* According to him everybody eventually left. He himself went to a Wimpy for coffee and after some time in the Wimpy they saw smoke. According to him there passed at least 30 minutes to an hour after the vehicle was toppled until it was set alight. He seems to imply that it was not a farmer but nobody knows who set it alight.

But tomorrow the eff does something similar and then what? Will we defend them or not?

If nobody is doing anything for them, then they are on their own anyway, no reason to make demands.

No, no, posting about a genocide IS stupid. Writing to the main man in charge of "the genocide" asking him to stip is as stupid as me writing to you asking you to hand over all the the white monopoly capital. They might as well be writing about lizard people. This isn't about superiority, they are genuinely deluded and hurting their own cause.

What can he do when the very people he is trying to help are telling him to go fly a kite?

I wonder if you are stupid or just ignorant..... they HAVE to go through the motions before anyone can take more concrete steps. They HAVE to be able to say they at least tried.

Honestly, the language use you love so much is no different in effect than calling someone a k-r.... you are a major hypocrite. You use the words you do because you feel superior to these people you deem to be less intelligent than yourself.... it's obvious why you do it otherwise you would have used other words.

That is my whole entire point - they are NOT trying. They made a list of demands they KNEW wouldn't be met. Any idiot can see it and you just pointed it out yourself.

I do not know what slurs, coz I disagree with them but do not hate them, so I doubt anything qualifies as a slur. Especially since in another thread a page full of racist content doesn't qualify as racist to you, yet somehow my "slurs" pale in comparison and are somehow bugging you

All I want now is a timeline to establish the escalation periods. In the case the police did escalate that which is known and how it played out then something is seriously wrong here. The police have a mandate, and they have a responsibility towards the citizens.

I don’t agree with the police van being burned out, though I don’t believe it was deliberately set alight, there is a notable video indicating that the police did use force with a vehicle to enter the premises, and after that escalation, the police van episode, but there is no definite timeline of the events, neither of when the van caught fire. It is a bunch of videos, one even stitched together for some reason, but no timestamps.

The burning police van is the perfect moment for changing the narrative at the moment, and it is this specific event being used by Cele’s for announcing this as a violent protest, which may have been provoked by his own department. The government may be playing with the real fire here.

Also note, Cele said nothing of gunshots, I wonder why ;)
