Anyone seen the video on Twitter of the military apparently being deployed in the Senekal region? Colleague found it on the twitter rabbithole - don't think that video is reliable as I am pretty sure it's fake news!

I very much doubt the farmers will be confrontational in Senekal, bar maybe one or two that will inevitably make the rest look bad if they are given the chance.

I suspect a large police presense and possibly some help from the army if there's not enough police going around.

We are discussing supporting the farmers who are setting up their farmers market, it was brought up in this thread. Why should the discussion be taken to the “shots fired” thread? I’m still unsure as to why Rambo (and now yourself) are so peeved at us questioning why the farmers don’t want the support of everyone?

Perhaps you’ll also now claim you’re being taunted and trolled as a way to avoid the topic.

Unless he is the first person to ever be doused with petrol and set alight in South Africa, otherwise it's a heinous crime that is nothing out of the ordinary from other equally heinous crimes happening in a violent country like SA.
