Farm Attacks

"It is completely unacceptable that around nine out of 10 murder cases in South Africa go unsolved. This scourge completely nullifies the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele’s claim that they are making more arrests. It serves absolutely no purpose to arrest people just to release them to continue murdering innocent women and children," Mmekwa said.

Action Society says under the mismanagement of Cele since 2018, the country’s police have continued to deteriorate, with only 14,5% of murders and 10,43% of armed robberies solved, making the police 30% less likely to solve murders and 39% less likely to solve armed robberies.

The bigger picture.

Interesting how Afriforum groups farm attacks and murders together for sensation.

Do these figures include attacks by farmers on farm workers?

Convictions often take time. It would be interesting to find out how many of these cases are in the justic system and how many have no leads at all.

What do you mean for sensation? It's their annual report on farm attacks. A farm murder is an attack.

Why not report farm murders and attacks as separate figures and not together?

Is it because farm murders total about 50 a year? Which shows that farming isn't the occupation most prone to murder?

Fuk me but you kan talk the utmost pile of shcit...no wonder most, if not all of your contributions, are met with derision and disgust.

Do you honestly believe it is just a matter of packing up and retiring? Most of these small farmers are living day to day and barely surviving. There also is not 2nd or 3rd generation of farmers...they HAVE given up and are following other professions.

Most of these farms have been in families for generations, so it is not just a matter of giving up. Stop blaming the victims here, you stupid POS.
He makes a valid point. Being a white farmer in SA is asking for being murdered. This is just a tragic fact. White farmers must give up farming or they will be murdered.

There are more policemen than farmers, yet year on year more farmers have been killed than police and this excludes farm laborer's. The impact on a farmer been killed as opposed to a policeman is greater, a farmer has a family and a number of workers relying on them besides the impact on crop and food production. To train a policeman takes about a year to train a farmer takes many years. ,

Indeed. One of my observations, which I find hugely interesting, is that it is so frequently visited by Farm Murder Denialsts and other EFF riffraff.

This mental image always jumps to mind ... strange bedfellows. You can spot them a mile away when they enter a thread, know why they're there and what is to follow. I just watch many times and I've yet to be wrong.

My post about the the farmer Louis Lategan from Aberdeen being arrested on charges of rape, child abduction and human trafficking was deleted because it was apparently 'off topic'.

I don't understand why.

I was asking a question about whether Afriforum included his atrocities in their farm attack statistics?

What farm did he attack? You're on a real mission here lmao. This isn't the random crimes committed by farmers thread.
