Farming anyone?

I ascribe that the downward trend is a very real one and while D3 players might not completely peter out with immediate effect - it certainly is heading down hard and fast.

Just looking at my Battle.net contacts & my own time spent in Diablo3, it's basically come to a complete grind weeks ago already. The D3 portraits have one by one changed back to SC2 and WoW with those still logging D3 saying that they're just playing the AH a bit.

Diablo3 was (in my opinion) a huge failure as Blizzard did not deliver at all what was promised in the early youtube vids - a perfect case of massive hype and over-promise, then under delivery. They removed too much from the final product for what we can only guess will be in the next expansion. Lekker $$$.

Honestly, PVP is still not in the game?

Pretty much the first part of the post right there - when we started with this we were around 15 peeps that played together. We even had our own little whatsapp channel where we shared SS of items we picked up, discussed builds, tactics and when we were going to do what.

Only time I see peeps online now is when they are playing SC or WOW, that's about it and our little comm channel is dead as a dodo. I really don't see PVP resurrecting this from the ashes for us.

I really do not want to call D3 a failure - I had loads of fun in the beginning - I would call it "not what I was expecting or wanted out of the third installment of one of the best games ever made"

Guys, clearly Activision got all their and Blizz's employees to quickly sign up with x-fire just to make it look like people were still playing.

I'm guessing we're actually like..... forum moderators..... and just don't really know....

That's funny, because farming is NOT fun. A game should be fun, in my humble opinion. Anyhow it's obvious you won't change your view. Enjoy the farming

I seem to enjoy it quite much. I have to say im behind Wikkels on this whole thing. Theres nothing more satisfying than putting in some effort for 2-3 hours and eventually getting that 1 or 2 upgrades. Next time round you can already see it working for you and slowly but surely you progress.If i had to buy all my upgrades at the AH or get them all in one go it would ruin the 'hunt' for me. So you run out of gold from dying? Only means you're gonna have to scale it down an act to get some more. With Paragon now its pretty high piles dropping (i cant/dont play AH at all so loot selling and drops are my only income lol)

Well, seeing as people are definitely still playing this game I thought I would try get this thread back on track.

As I've said a couple of times now I dont really enjoy soloing, I have way more fun as a group.

Sometimes when there is space Crusader and a few others have joined. I'd say we all pretty even (until Archer starts actually spending some of his cash horde ) which makes it a nice challenge as a group. Everyone needs to be on top form in order for us to to handle MP4.

Yesterday we did Act 1 with MP4. It was challenging to say the least but definitely doable. I think Archer timed our runs at about 1h15min. Looks like we will probably drop to MP3 for the other Acts.

Seems there's enough of us around (especially now after 1.05) that no one should need to play solo. If you prefer solo that's fine, but I think most people will enjoy playing in a group.

Anyone other guys here formed a regular group? Dish out the details!

If you're asking what class you need to play to run with a group I would say whatever class you enjoy the most. In D3 you can run fine having an entire party of the same class IMO. In general, you not going to run into a situation where someone says "oh, you a barb, we dont need a barb in our group" as long as you on the same relative power level as the party you're trying to join.

That being said, I have a big desire to see a really powerful witch doctor or wizard on this forum. I would love the chance to run with one as I've never had that experience before.

As I said, I pretty much played till Hell with my monk till I finished the the game with a friend. That was in the first month of release, wanna try jam now some higher levels. Will grind some to get up a higher, would just like to jam with some people, all my friends pretty much uninstalled the game once they finished.

Guys are grouping with each other here fairly often.

It seems your up for the grind! I would pick your class of preference and get him to lvl 60 and inferno difficulty ASAP. This you probably going to have do this solo. Don't worry about gear too much getting to lvl 60.

When you hit level 60 come back here and some of us will more than likely help you out with some gear that should hopefully allow to group with some of us here.

I think I'm going to be grinding up my Wizard, I played my Witch Doctor a bit last night, and couldn't decide whether I wanted to play him or my Wizard. I'm not hitting my Monk the highest character I have because don't dig him too much, But gonna hit the Wizard as I'm already in Nightmare there, I'll semi level the Witch Doctor if I have time, but primary is the Wizard.

Let me know if you need help getting to 60. My alt is a wizard and I got some sweet gear to get him through from probably about level 50-60 (Some of it I think is Archers and he used it to get his wizard through to 60). I dont have the time to play my alt, so let me know when you get there and if you're struggling. You dont want to be wasting alot of time gearing up until you lvl 60.

These guys reckon 2.5% of PC gaming time is spent on D3. Whats it been Wyzak, 2 years now since the game was meant to be DOOMED?
